carrying e-cigarette
if you read this....thank you cash...i got my e-cigarette today.seems to work good so far, ill have to get the hang of it. my question for you all( i've been reading a lot of the forums for the past week, but this is my first post), i got the 901, and would like to know if its ok to carry it vertically(like in my shirt pocket), and would it be better to carry it with the led tip up, or mouthpiece tip up? and thank you all btw, i have learned TONS by reading all your posts since i ordered last week, so i feel fairly prepared

Personally I try and keep it cart up / led down. Maybe a paranoid juice thing.

I do the same.. It looks like the juice in the reservoir can leak out if it is upside down, so I never chance it..

I try to keep mine LED down, if the cartridge is really full, and there's just the slightest bit of liquid on the mouthpiece, it has a tendency to wick into the shirt material. That being said, these things are rarely out of my mouth for any given time, so leaks are rare.
Cheese graters could also be marketed and sold as sponge ruiners. Think about it.

hmm, didnt think about staining....anyway, thanks for the replies. i guess i was did led up for the time being, what im worried about is if the liquid does move...it could flood the atomizer and the battery and do damage

I like to keep mine in my change pocket if I am wearing jeans.. it fits so nicely in there, and I haven't had any flooding issues to date (although I solely use the drip method)..
By the way.. is that by any chance a Mitch Hedberg quote in your sig youfillintheblank?

Welcome jimgman. I'm also from Delaware. If I carry it in my shirtpocket, I keep the mouthpiece tip down so the atomizer doesn't get dripped on. Haven't had any leakage issues.

I would say that flooding with a normal cart would be unusual. Flooding would most likely be caused through dripping.
I usually start the day with a prefilled cart then top off throught the day as vapor drops off. Not had any flooded atts yet.

Yes, liquid can kill your battery. The only time I killed a battery is by blowing into the mouthpiece with the battery on. It went south immediately, It was new to me so I didn't really know.
the stains actually clean out pretty easy, a little detergent on a wet cloth and they come right out.
