I've got all autos, 15 of them so far. Seem to be ok to me. I have three that are tempermental and not particularly sensitive so I stuck em in a reserve pile. Only one seems to go off around music or open car windows on occasion.
I was thinking of grabbing a couple of manual batts for the hell of it.
Out of curiosity...does anyone make a auto passthrough?

401 pass through is an auto, mine worked great untill I bunged it up with liquid, I have been using the 510 for the last few months and I think the auto manual thing could be model spesific, I have killed 3 510 autos and sent back about 4, I have found with the 510 that there seems to be no consistancy in the sensitivity. almost every one is different, the 401 Evos on the other hand are all very similar and fairly reliable.
I have also killed a few 510 manuals mostly the switch breaks off or just sticks.
IMHO
if you get a good auto they are the bomb, but you have more chance of getting a good manual than an auto.
