3 days... you'll get another one, don't worry. I'm not sure about shorts and atomizer deaths, my dead batteries were bad switch problems, wouldn't work, or worked intermittantly.

Cheese graters could also be marketed and sold as sponge ruiners. Think about it.

I recently had the same problem with a 901 battery. Cold, dead no led, no vape. Contacted Steve about it, then forgot about it for about 3 days. Went to pack it up to send back and whammo, suddenly working again.
It's still working great and in fact it's one of my better ones now.

i knew atomizers were touchy and could go at any time. my second order would have been different(within 24 hours of receiving my initial order
) if i knew the batteries were that touchy too. i guess i just didnt even think that if 1 of them went, i wouldnt be able to alternate. im quickly going broke getting set up, but i guess i have to pllace another order....lol.trying to decide between a whole 901 kit, or just 2 batts for now.have 2 atomizers otw, but now im thinking more...and what if my charger should crap out?....sounds like steve will replace it from what you all are saying, but i just quickly learned its better to have too many parts than too few.

wow, steves shipping is really fast, no way i thought it would come today.was able to test the "bad" battery today, and it is bad.was hoping maybe just the led went out, and it would still work...at least i can vape now, but only have 1 battery and the usb plug till my battery order shows up. still waiting to hear from steve about the battery and atomizer, hes prolly away for the holidays.

My advice is to go for another kit. If you are relying on one cig, then 4 batteries and 2 chargers is the way to go. The logistics of keeping up with one charger is very difficult.

agreed, i went to order another kit, but he was sold out! i ordered 2 batteries, and hopefully ill be ok until i can scrounge up some money for a kit

I have found as a moderate user that the batteries have a 3 month life spand. Either they charge but don't last as long or the internal switch starts to stick.
-
3 months would be great by me. ive heard 1 month a lot..about the same as atomizers.

I definitely go through more batteries than atomizers...don't give up on your atomizer till you try a few different batteries.
