Default E-Juice question

This is probably a FAQ, but which is better PG or VG. I just ordered an E-cig and a bunch of carts and a backup battery and atomizer. When I get done with the carts i would like to refill them with zero nicotine (Gonna leave the deadly stuff to the machines) either bought or homemade e-juice. I have plenty of ideas for homemade zero nicotine flavors, but not sure which medium is the best. Thanks in advance for any help.

Depends what you want. As a general rule, PG gives better throat hit, VG gives more (thicker) vapor.
Some have problems with PG.
VG makes hubby's tummy sick.

Hope that was helpful ~ P

The best is what suits you (honestly).

As Princessdee says, some folks don't react too well to PG and have to use VG instead...but it's all good if it works for you.

Thanks for the info. Do any grocery or discount stores carry VG 0r PG.

Wal mart...

pharmacy part for PG (Make sure it says USP)

Crafts section (cake pans and such, by the food color) for VG. Wilton.

I don't go there, but that's what some others have posted.

Health food stores often carry VG in more bulk for lower cost than the little bottles you get in the cake-making section.

Also, nobody's mentioned it yet, but VG is thicker than PG, and hard to work with (it kind of oozes rather that pours), and some people say it gums up their attys.

But VG is "natural," and it's not used in antifreeze, so if someone close to you has concerns about the ingredients, it can put their mind (somewhat) at ease.

Like these other folks said, PG gives me the HIT, but with VG I blow insanely huge clouds. Seems like I have to drag harder too because its so thick.

I diy and I mix with a 60/40 mix. 60%vg. 40%pg. As has already been said, personal preference dictates a lot but that mix works well for me, I am not into the hard throat hit and it causes a lot of throat irritation to me with pure pg and I am more interested in the vapor than the 'hit' and this mix is enough pg to thin the vg some so it doesn't gum up the atty but it doesn't burn. jEveryone's wants and needs are different but this works wel for what I want and need.
