Top-off vs. Refill

I keep hearing people refer to topping-off cartridges and refilling them like they are two different activities. What is the difference? Is refilling when you put eliquid in to a completely empty cart, and topping-off when you add liquid to a cart that is half-way spent? Thanks all!

Interchangeable terms. When your vapor declines, add liquid to the cart until it's almost, but not quite, pooling at the top.

Ahhh, I get it now, thanks! While it is basically the same thing, it seems like "topping-off" is just adding some drops to a cart that is running low, while "refilling" would be adding liquid, possibly with a syringe, to a cart that is totally dry. Thank you

If you simply add drops to the top of the cart, you will have to drop a couple at a time, wait to soak in, add more, repeat. With a syringe you actually fill it full from the bottom, no waiting. Either way you are "refilling."

If you just add a couple of drops to the cart when vapor declines, this is what most people would call "topping-off."

when i top off/refill the spent cart on my hydro i sometimes tend to get liquid in my mouth he i use more than 2 drops. I have heard that using a syringe is the way to go. Does this help with liquid in the mouth? Is there another way. My crown 7 hydro is what many would consider to be a mini.
