So as a newbie, I read the heck outta this forum.

Came to the conclusion I was gonna get a 510, but heard good things about the dse801's and 901's as good starters.

Ended up getting a 801 cus of the 50% off a starter kit deal Beyond Electronic Cigarettes had. And that should be here tomorrow.

So I get to have my first vape yay!

But a few questions I couldn't find answers to.

I mainly smoke Camel lights, so I was looking for a similar flavor. Was thinking id probably get like 50% turkish, and 50% marl, but not positive.

Also is there a referece to what potency someone should get? Was reading about ppl getting panic attacks and stuff for smoking too high of nicotine content. Im just guessing a medium strength would be my best bet.

Anyways, I probably have more questions, but I cant remember any. Thanks for the forum, and all the info stored in it!

Yay! I smoked marlbro lights and everyone one says there is not a juice that will taste exactly like a cig. But I think you have a great plan. I personally like french pipe with a little RY4 which ends up tasting better than a cig did. Give us a little status report tomorro. Good Luck!

Potency kinda depends on you. I smoked almost 2pks a day sometimes. I am using 24mg which is high-very high & I am not having negative effects & was able to quit analogs pretty quick.

I guess I am going to ask a very dumb question, are you guys actually getting any flavor? I am using a Greensmoke e-cig and even bought some outside source liquid and to be honest flavor seems to be nothing.

I find that flavor does wain after a bit. I do switch flavors up a bit. The french & RY4 I mix seems to give me flavor for quite a while though.

So your not talking one to two hits on the e-cig far as flavor? I am only able to taste very minimal for the 1st hit on it or so then nothing, just vapor. Am I doing something wrong? Or is it my Greensmoke e-cig ??

I'm using a 24mg juice as well, and although I'm not feeling any adverse effects from the nicotine content, the throat hit is a bit strong. Usually makes me cough everytime. I'm going to drop down to a 20mg juice and see if that works. I think an 18-20mg juice is probably a safe bet for a new vaper.

What juice did you get? Who did you get it from?

I usually get pretty good flavor from the juices I have. My EcoPure Gold juice isn't terribly flavorful but my cafe mocha tobacco (Nhale) and my mocha (Tasty Vapor) are very good.

It's probably not the e-cig but maybe the juice? Maybe your atty is dirty? Try blowing out the atty into a kleenex (blow from the thread side, not the bridge side).

Reboot the juice I finally bought to add to the cartomizer was Juicy Liquid Caramel Crisp in 24mg VG, I've tried it one 3 different cartomizers and the same thing not any flavor that I can say is strong or very little throat hit at all.

Yeah, I can always taste some flavor just seems I get a little burnt out on it after a while & it starts tasting a little weak. I mostly notice this with tobacco flavors. Other flavors do seem to hold there flavor longer for me. Its me not the juice. I have gotten juice from about 5 five different suppliers.
