boiling atomizers, what to expect?
I boiled my first atomizer for the second time today and it somewhat worked, easier draw, better vapor output, etc. However I noticed I still noticed that there is black gunk looking stuff on the coil. My method of boiling is leaving it in boiling water for about 5 mins then running the atomizer through cold water just to cool it down enough so I can blow on it, I did this once. The first time I boiled it I set it in the boiling water for 3 mins, ran under a cool tap and blew on it. Did that 3 times and again nothing ever came out except water. I have read some people blowing out the atomizer after boiling it and they get the gunk out. I too would like to get that gunk off there.

You could try a mild acid solution to loosen up said "gunk".. Any soda will work, just let it sit for about 10 mins then blow, rinse, blow!

Or you could use the dry burn method.

I don't boil, use chemicals, mouthwash, denture cleaner, etc. I just use Highping's method on an as need basis (not routinely).
