Default Do your eyes get dry?

I've never had this problem, but since I've been vaping, I've noticed lately my eyes were getting dry in the afternoon.

I just this second had the AHA! thought that maybe it's the vapor.

(I live in Florida, seldom have the heater on, which is the usual culprit in Winter, but I've not used the heater in over 2 weeks.)

Propylene Glycerol is a humectant and has a tendency to make you dry. Dry mouth, dry eyes, you name it.

This has only been a real pain for me when I'm wearing my contacts...

I wear contacts and haven't had any problems with dryness beyond the normal fatigue syndrome. Or when I've spent too long peering at my pc screen reading this forum - hehe!

I do find I get the dry mouth, but compared to the taste cigarettes leave in my mouth I can put up with this without feeling that it isn't worth it.

You can get drops to moisten contacts called 'comfort solution' which comes in tiny bottles or vials and isn't too cheap, but a guy at my opticians told me he just puts a few drops of his cleaning/rinsing solution straight into his eyes if he's suffering. Most of them now claim to contain something to 'improve lens lubrication' = comfort solution. Not exactly what you're recommended to do with it but hey - smoking wasn't recommended either but we still did it, didn't we?

    Vape on, guys and gals!

Actually the dry throat might be a good syndrome for those like me who forget to drink regularly to keep up with the hypertension diuretic pills which require you to keep hydrated all the time to work properly.

I did have dry eyes, but I did a lot of work, too, so I thought it was just a computer screen-caused problem, and bought another Visine.

    LOL

I haven't noticed a problem with dry eyes, but the dry mouth for sure. But then analogs have the same effect on me.

BTW, I'm a Floridian as well.

Confirm. But better off with dry eyes than formalinhydroxide poisoned eyes from tabacs
