You know I finally started vaping. My 901 came in yesterday from esmoke4life and it's a pretty good little unit. Tough to drip though. I got decent vapor out of it. Thought it was pretty decent, until today... I got my 510 in and started using it (cignot) and holy cow am I loving it. Much better vapor production, smoother if you ask me, but the thickness of the vapor feels like smoke to me. I've purchased fluid from all over but haven't gotten all of them yet (rest are in tomorrow). The black tea from cignot has been amazing (thought it'd be terrible but I'd read that it was great). All of this was picked up after looking through the forums here. Heck this is my first post, but I'm so excited with the 510, I guess I'm a fanboy now...

Any information would be great! Thanks a lot guys.
Any electronic cigarette you buy can fulfill the following requirements...
-Menthol
-Different levels of nicotine
-Any color, really
-Reliable company
That leaves you with Easy to maintain.
Which is a cartomizer model, so I recommend the KR808D-1 to you.
And if you change your mind later, it's not my fault.
And if you didn't read the thread in my signature, it's even more not my fault.

Here are my thoughts, those of a newbie who is very content with what I have now.
I started out with a starter kit which turned out to be the KR808D-1 model from SmokeTip.com per a suggestion from a good friend. I really enjoyed it from my very first vape with it and immediately put my analogs in a drawer and haven't touched them since (after 36+ years of smoking). It worked perfectly as advertised/expected and got me off analogs instantly.
After more than a week of reading hour after hour after hour on these forums with all the videos here and on Youtube, I found and purchased the very best deal on a Joye 510 from Cignot.com and am no less than 100% satisfied. With my order I also got the USB Passthru, the PCC, 3 extra PTB mod empty carts. I got the manual batteries with mine and HIGHLY recommend them over the automatic ones.
BUT keep in mind that all of this is my own personal experience and opinions. Everyone has their own preferences and almost everyone here on these forums have much, much more experience than I do - I am still a newbie here and will be for quite some time.
I'm only sharing what I've done with you to help you make an informed opinion for yourself. Oh, I keep my cart full of RY4 flavor when I vape but really LOVE dripping a drop or two all the time as well.
Good Luck and whatever you decide, give it time! There really is a learning curve to these PV's but for me anyhow, I absolutely LOVE to vape. I've also learned quickly to mix some VG with my RY4 to reduce the nicotine mg to about 10-12 which has stopped my throat irritation I had.

Steve
I quit instantly with my first vape on 4 November 2009. Thank You ECF!

The Mseries would be my recommendation.

yea like the M702 Revolver ecig. Revolvercig.com. company is very reliable too. products ship fast. closest to the real thing. they have a great menthol flavor. they have 4 different strengths of nicotine. just what your looking for. one of my fav ecigs. joye510 is good too. but doesnt feel like a real cig. still a winner in my book.

I own a couple 510's. I think you would be happy with one of them over the bloog.

When I underwent my first 4-5 day researching on what e-cig to buy, I thought I knew what I wanted. I wanted something relatively cheap, something I could refill myself, and I wanted it to LOOK LIKE A REAL CIGARETTE, while performing well.
I ended up buying the Joye 510. I am so ....... happy I chose this one, even though it doesn't look like a real cig. From what I hear, in general the smaller the e-cig, the worse it performs (per the type of e-cig), which is understandable.
At least in my newbie opinion the 510 is an awesome e-cig to start out with. Good vapor, good throat hit, cheap, perfect for dripping, it pretty much has it all. The one thing that I thought may be a big deal, wasn't: it doesn't look like a real cig and I could care less. At Cignot you can purchase a 2-ecig (2 batteries, 2 atomizers) kit for $35, which also comes with 5 cartridges of liquid and a wall charger.
My vote is to go with the joye 510 from cignot and avoid a potentially frustrating situation due to an ecig you don't like. Different ecigs fit different people, but I think the odds you would like the 510 would be fairly high. Pack a day smoker of full flavored here, going on 1 month of zero analogs. I probably will sound like some lame and hilarious infomercial at 3 in the morning, but if I can quit analogs EASY AS FOOK, you can as well.

Not strictly true. Most (if not all) M401 models / brands will out perform a 510 in every aspect except throat hit (& even then they come damned close) The batteries on a 401 last around twice as long per charge & the atties have more longevity than the 510. Although the carts are bigger on the 510 they only tend to use half of the juice in them without modding & as the atty is a thirsty little beast it's liquid consumption is higher.
I've owned both models & I have now disguarded the my 510s, but the best of luck with yours.
