Nasty plastic burning smell from atomizer

My atomizer is making my vapor stink like plastic burning =(

Whats a proper way to clean this?
I tried flushing it out with hot water and blowing through the battery end ( using compressed air too )

Anyone else with proven methods?

Someone else mentioned this so I tried it and it seemed to work. While cleaning it, I filled it with hot water and blew on the CART end....blew the water right out the other end. I have a penstyle and that worked for me. Don't know what you have.

Edited to add: make sure you prime it with some juice before smoking again.
