PG is Propylene Glycol. It is made from animal proteins. VG is just made from vegetables. VG is a bit thicker and will produce more vapor. PG is sweeter.

I don't believe that is correct. It is my understanding that the process is:
Propene (propylene) - > Propylene Oxide -> Propylene Glycol
You may be thinking of non-vegetable glycerol

Yes, I misspoke. Thanks for the correction, PG is made synthetically while Glycerol, should be equally safe, is made from animal protein, Pig specifically i think.

Just to clarify:
VG = Vegetable Glycerin = Glycerin = Glycerol
It can be made from vegetable or animal fat.
The "Now" brand of VG is made from vegetables only.
