    Default Just got a 510.

    Hey all,

    After 1 month of research of this "e smoking" I decided to try the Blucigs.

    After about 2 months of that and problems that kept resurfacing (EG The atty kept tasting like carcoal...idk...should i say about FIVE attys started doing this...it was a waste of my dam money!)

    I bought a 510 (blue on blue) from e smokey treats.

    This is my first post to ANY forum about e smoking.

    Things that I have tried.

    Teabag mod with the blu cig (stay away...stay FAAAAR AWAY)

    Teabag with the 510 (works very well)

    Though, I need to ask a question to all of you,

    I got my 510 today from e smokey treats, and well one atty does ABSOLUELY nothing! The other works just fine....I think. If I smoke the prefilled carts I got, it ..well sucks...and makes my lungs tight up for some reason (this happened with the blu cigs at the end also. I have a VERY light case of asthma ...it usually comes up ONLY when sick or if I run like 5 miles.)

    I started using my 510 right away...charged one bat. and started useing it with the other bat. Do I REALLLY need to charge them for 4 hours on the first time?

    Other thing all this (and I know this post is a mess) I am glad to be a vapiteer! I chose the 510 after blu simply because of MANY different ppl on other forums and this one stating that the 510 was the best at this time. I am sure that is debatable , but I can't do what others have done, spending money over and over and over again. I need something that works, and i have to stick with it. I am on a very tight budget.

    I think the 510 is a solid choice. It's what I went with. You will debate after debate on this. But it's inexpensive easy to mod and easy to use. Sounds like your atty might be doa. I contact the vendor. Otherwise welcome in and best of luck.

    Email your vendor and ask them what their replacement policy is on the attys. Most have some sort of warranty policy.

    Welcome and good luck with your warranty issue.

    Also, you might try VG eliquid and see if it helps with the lung tightness. If it continues, see a medical professional.

    Definitely sounds like a a bad atomizer.

    As long as you contact the vendor within 7-14 days they will usually replace it. Each vendor is differnet though so contact them quick!

    one of the 3 attys i got is also not as good as the other 2....it just needs a real hard draw to get anything of of it...sounds like your problem is the same but even worse....i've had this thing a month and lost one battery and the one aty problem but it's all worth it for me! it beats the crap out of analogs for me. the health benefits i've noticed are outstanding and if anything i bet your asthma will improve if you were an analog smoker moving to the e-cig...i'm not a doctor and don't play one on tv either....

    And to answer your other question... no, you don't need to charge them for 4 hurs. When the wall charger light turns green, you're good to go.

    And just as a little suggestion.. when you get a chance see if you can order some VG based juice (ECOpure or one of the other VG varieties). I have this feeling you might prefer it over the the PG that you've been vaping.

    No, you don't need to charge these little 510 batteries 4 hours.

    When the red light turns green they are as charged as they can be--micro circuitry in the battery shuts the battery down from receiving any more electricity from the charger. When that red light turns green--the battery has shut down.

    Just a note regarding my own personal experience with the 510 batteries thus far. I just read a post with people claiming they carry up to 5 batteries with them per day just to get through the day (even with a pcc it sounded like)!!! I left my batteries to charge for 8 hours each when I first received them (I did pull em off a couple times to vape for a few minutes). I now smoke one while the other is in the PCC and am literally unable to kill one (constantly vaping) before the other is ready to roll. I know you're not suppose to have to charge these batteries like that but I'll definitely be doing it with all my future ones as well just to be on the safe side.

    So far with the atty that is working I am having NO problems with the 510.

    I bought 2 bottles of e-smokeytreats liquid. Just to test there products.

    What do you all mean about PG and VG (Poor grade...??? Grade)

    PG = Propylene Glycol
    VG = Vegetable Glycerin

    Those are the two base liquids that most of our juices are made from.
