Just got my Joye510 today Advice?
My Joye510 Just came today. I ordered it last friday morning. Its been a very long week waiting on it
Right now it is charging the full 8 hours. I am so excited to try it out!! So seems like sometime this week I read that the carts that come with it have primer and I need to blow that out... So can anyone refresh my mind about this? Also any advice tips I need to know about before I use it? Thanks everyone! This forum has really been a wealth of information!

No need to wait 8 hours. So you're good to go when the charger light turns green.
Charging lithium-ion batteries
"Lithium-ion is a very clean system and does not need priming as nickel-based batteries do. The 1st charge is no different to the 5th or the 50th charge. Stickers instructing to charge the battery for 8 hours or more for the first time may be a leftover from the nickel battery days."
Take your atomizers and from the threaded end - blow by mouth into it with a paper towel at the other end and keep doing that until there's no more wetness - then do it again ;-) This is to clear the primer/shipping fluid from the atomizer - it can taste nasty.
Put 2 drops on the atomizer bridge - that hump of metal mesh inside the atomizer that you can see viewing from the cart (open) end. Screw the atomizer in, load up the cartridge and take some slow easy draws (push the button first if you have a manual batt). Let go of the button as you're finishing your draw..... continue... ;-)

You don't blow primer out of your cartridges...you blow primer out of you atomizer.
Invest in a box of Qtips. Everytime your battery dies, take a Qtip out and wipe the battery connector on the battery off. Might as well do the same for your Atomizer. As a techno I am positive it will help them last longer.
Make sure you line your cartridge up correctly with the atomizer. To do so;
1. Take the cartridge off. You'll notice the bottom of it looks more like this 0 than this O...remember that.
2. Now look down in the atomizer. You'll see two little while rings (insulators). Use a flashlight if you have to. One of these white rings should go at the top of the 0 and the other should go at the bottom of the 0.
Welcome aboard!...and a tip of the hat for getting the right e-cig to start up with.

Another thing I like to do is what I think is called "tailpiping". I put one or two drops of my favorite e-juice directly on my atty, and use an empty (no filler at all) cart that came attached to my new atty and use that, so I'm just vaping what is on my atty - nice and fresh and a vaping monster!
Enjoy!
I quit instantly with my first vape on 4 November 2009. Thank You ECF!

Nope, tailpiping is without using any cartridge at all.
That's right, just hitting straight off the atomizer.
But clearly, you can't do it with exposed atomizers, only recessed ones.
What you are doing is simply called dripping.
