First day analog free...
So I began my quitting process about two weeks ago. Started with patches and gum. That got me down from 30 cigs to 3 or 4 cigs per day. Then over the past week I started using my PV. Still was at 2 or 3 cigs per day. I should have my first bottle of liquid in the mail today so am starting off this day analog free. This may be a difficult day to do this as I am going to a party tonight and most peolple there will be smoking like chiminies.
If I get my juice today I will just be dripping all night, if not I may have to head up to the mall and get some more grossly overpriced carts from the SE kiosk.
The morning was rough with vaping with my cup of esspresso after I woke up but I got through it. Worried about how I will be feeling while drinking with lots of smokers around.

You may be surprised at how little it bothers you to be vaping when people around you are smoking. That's assuming that you got a high enough nic level on your e-juice, of course.

that's kind of the problem I am facing. If I get my 36mg liquid from TW today I think I will be fine. If not I will have to get a couple of boxes of SE carts for the night. These carts do next to nothing for me. I think the SE "tobacco high" is only 16mg. Coming from 1.5 packs of Camel per day I need something a bit stronger.

Scott,
If you fall back on analogs when you're out tonight, so be it. Tomorrow is a new day. It might actually be easier for you to wait until you receive your hi nic liquid.
Anyway, good luck switching entirely to ecigarettes.

I slipped up twice (1 cig two days apart) with analogs when I first started...been at this for about 12 days now...
Just forget about the slip ups and continue to vape...it's a hard adjustment for some of us.

I had the same problem..smoked 2 1/2 a day.
Once I switched to 24mg it seemed to correct this problem...I hope to taper that down after I get adjusted to this...may take months for me.

I had smoked for 40 years and it was a little tough the first day especially after drinking or eatting something but I stayed on the 36mg jice and it was easy the 2nd day onward. You will make it.. Just make sure you have high enough juice on hand and everytime the urge hits you for an analog just vape away until the feeling leaves you. You will need to do that for up to several days maybe.. good success to you! You will feel better!

i'm now on my 3rd day, and it has actually been easy so far. then again, i didn't try to quit until my body told me that it had enough nic from the 36mg@6v.. i've put my pass thru away since 5v was not enough to satisfy my cravings. i went 2 months on 36mg@5v but that never satisfied me enough to forget about smoking an analog.
just stick with the vaping, and even if you still need a few cigs to get you thru the day, and you will find what you need.
good luck to you and everyone trying to quit, and congrats to those who have.

The forums are full of success stories and some not so successful, just don't beat yourself up 3 cigs a day is still a lot better for you than your normal amount. You'll get there eventually if your goal is to be analog free. Keep at it, good luck!
