does anyone know all the different flashes and what they mean?

i have a classic penstyle from puresmoker.com and love it a lot. but i just put a new battery in and everynow and then it flashes about 10 times. i don't get a puff but then right after i get a great one. also im not exactly sure why but it seems to be tasting like glue? i don't know why. One more question how would i best clean the atomizer without ruining it. thanks alot guys

I also have the pen but can't imagine why a new battery would be flashing. Do you have another battery to try? If another works right and that one flashes, you might have a bad batt. Contact Steve....he'll do right by you.

Are you using a new atomizer? They have that horrid factory prime that more or less has to be smoked through. I hate it myself but put some drops of juice on it and keep puffing away and it should burn off. That's the only thing I can think of that would make it taste like glue.

There's a lot of ways to clean an atomizer; some people just wash them out with hot water, some use vinegar, some use Everclear liquor, some boil the, etc. Also, you can "blow them out" first.

There is a whole thread around here about cleaning them. Just make sure you put some more liquid drops on it after washing it to moisten it again.

Yes, could be the safety feature. I've never had that happen so I don't really know about it but if he's puffing too long, I suppose that's what could be going on. Never thought about that!

yeah thats what it might be. i already contacted steve on a bad atomizer and hes sending me a new one. i dont want to bother him too much. or make it look like im making it up. but 1 question how many drops would you guys reccomend? also boiling it or getting it wet doesent ruin the electrical components of the atomizer?

I use 2-3 but also smoke it right away. You can flood the battery if you put in too much. I generally suck mine up before that happens...lol

No, but they do take a while to dry. Trying to vape while still wet really won't work. You should really try finding that cleaning atomizers thread. Try that in the search box. It will help a lot.

the 10 flashing will happen when you puff too much in a certain amount of time so you don't get too much nicotine.

Hey all, I got a great white from Jane and one of the batteries flashes 3 then 4 times. ( wont take a charge )Any ideas what it means. I want to dissect it just because I want to see the set up inside but don't want to waste it if it just needs a tweak. Just FYI Jane sent me a free replacement. Pretty quick too.
