Question about the DSE801 atty...

I ordered three attys...one of them I hardly have to draw (which is wonderful), but when I tested the other two attys you have to draw like crazy to get anything from it.

This can't be normal. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas about this?

To all the noobs (yes I am one too) be sure you stock up on attys because they tend not to last very long.

Due to quality control issues, you will come across differences between atomizers, even from the same order. It you are displeased with the atomizers, you could contact the supplier and see if you may be entitled to a replacement. Also make sure to blow out as much primer (from the factory) from the threaded end of the atomizer and give it several minutes of vaping with e-liauid to ensure you are still dissatisfied.

Like Breakfast said, vape it for a bit..Some attys are just straight up hard to get em to kick in and new/primer removed attys are thirsty...
Also might want to either unscrew the atty just a small touch or tighten it, some can be finicky about the battery contact...

I don't think it is an issue of battery contact, but of airflow. If I blow through them after trying to vape will that cause a problem?

The funny thing about it is one of those attys were already replaced by the supplier.

Will try blowing through the threaded part and see what happens...thanks everyone here that responded.

Blowing through the atomizer and turning it upside down over night is the ideal maintenance procedure. If you can do it relisiously, you may prolong the life of the atomizer.

Generally, 'blowing out' is something you do when too much liquid collects in and around the actual heating coil and air holes tht provide airflow from the outside worls and carry vapor out the mouthpiece. The suggestion to 'blow out' the atomizer was simply to help remove any (if present) fluid added from the factory that prevents the atomizer from being bone dry upon arrival at your doorstep. Blowing out and vaping for 30 minutes may not correct the flow problem. If it does not, that is when you contact the supplier and tell them the reasonable steps you took to get your atomizer to perform properly.

Whatever you do, don't start dropping you atomizer in coca cola, fizzy denture tablets, harsh acids or anything else. These are not processes you need to be ever concerned with unless you have a lot of free time on your hands. Now that I have irritated the 'cleaning' advocates, feel free to PM me for more information.

I had that same thing happen with some 201's and never got them to have any airflow. See if you can send them back.

They were brand new with little or no juice in them...baffling really. You know there is a problem when your first atty you hardly have to draw at all and you put a fresh one in and it's like trying to draw on one of those damn SE tubes. Vapor Kings must be tired of hearing from me about attys. lol
