Get thee immediately to the Law and Health sections and start reading ....

i too think they will ban it everywhere eventually for a number of reasons.
but they won't mention the real reason which i believe is the money loss from tobaco taxes...
maybe some cigarette manufactures will push them too.
it seems it is very easy to jump from analogs to e-cigs, so get ready when most of the smokers are start buying e-cigs.....now we are only a handful and not a threat yet...

I'm very worried. I plan to buy as much supplies as I can as soon as possible.

I think we are safe until someone decides to do serious testing of our devises and figures out if it really is harmful or not. It is still a fairly new invent and I have yet to see any major research groups tackle it's affects. I cant see how e-cigs could be harmful in any way except for the minor side effects I've read about on this forum (which are mostly related to quitting analogue cigs.) I do however think e-cigs can be over used and will eventually turn into a very negative thing. If someone gets addicted to the "fierce" nicotine which is something like 32mg and stops using it I'm sure they will have extreme withdrawals and may introduce serious health risks. It's the one i use anyway so obviously I'm the pot calling the kettle black, but it is a concern we may have to deal with in the future.

It's the opposite. We AREN'T safe precisely because it HASN'T been tested. The FDA can pull it in a heartbeat because it isn't approved or tested. Expect testing to never be done and even if it was, it would take a decade.

I'm not so worried that any health authorities will stop them because they're are unhealthy rather either big business will stop them because they're not getting their cut or anti-tobacco will go after them because they're against anyone having the freedom to do what they wish to their own bodies.
If the government(s) go after them on their own it will be about taxes.
Search for the tobaccofreekids petition against the nicotine water. I'm getting more and more convinced that these are doomed.
I plan on stocking up on enough liquid to at least give me a fighting chance at getting of analogs.

Tobaccofreekids is one of the groups that petitioned the FDA to have nicotine water banned, correct? I believe that's the case. All it took was a citizen's petition to the FDA and voila, off the shelves.

Yep and their reasoning while not really applicable to e-cigs because it's not a food was not totally rational and they could easily twist it to apply to e-cigs.
I wouldn't doubt if they or a group like them were behind trying to get the FDA into cigarettes.
