Nope - quit in the middle of 2008, without really trying. Gotta love this thang...

I've smoked for 13 years and have rolled my own for 10. I didn't start e-vaping to quit smoking, just cut down because i love rolling cigarettes. Oops, I haven't smoked or rolled a smoke in over a month.

I though maybe I could cut out some cigarette's if I got a E-Cig. I have smoked for 40 years from 16 years old on and could not quit for long with anything I tried. With out any effort the first two weeks I went from 23 cigarettes a day to 3 a day. I Don't smoke now thank god.

My Dad and I quit together for the new year! He is a long time smoker- like 40+ years, and usually went through 1.5-2 packs a day. I've been smoking for about 8 years, maybe 4-7 cigarettes a day, and I was the first to backslide I've had 1 cigarette since the 1st, and I felt horrible afterwards- both physically and from all the guilt.

I saw some of the Scottish guy's Youtube videos (Rusty? Not sure what his username here is), and thought that e-cigs may be the perfect way to help us replace normal cigarettes (and potentially wean down to 0 nicotine). I placed an order for a starter kit very early this morning (after being up all night reading reviews and advice on the forum and trying to pick the "right" one) and am anticipating the package's arrival more than I'm wanting to drive up to the store and buy a pack of smokes!

I was planning to but didn't...the damn inhaler I bought was not enough to match my determination, and tastes like crap But I am down to about 2-3 cigarettes a day which is a huge improvement and I plan to go to 0 next week.

Got my 1st 2 "Personal Vaporizers" a few days before Xmas. I had 5 analogs I left in the car. They went between xmas and new year when I stressed out with technical vaporizer issues. Maybe I should reset my ticker lol.

I don't really think about cigs at all now I just grab my screwdriver. As I used to roll my own this vaping is costing me more than smoking used to but I find vaping more enjoyable and more acceptable around other people.

I got my liquid and started dripping method on December 24th. Haven't had an analog since. So, smoke free in 2009 so far!

Smoked regulars from 94-2008, so 14 years. Was at about 2 packs before starting this. Ive tried stopping cigs about 6 times. At one point, used TWO patches (large and medium strength) at a time, plus the losenges. All at once. Couldn't get over the hump even with all that.

I didn't expect or intend to quit with these, was hoping to just cut down, and have something to use indoors. But now, I don't have any desire to go back, just want to vape all day

I've had 3 cigs since Christmas and haven't had any in 9 days. I don't really miss them. I'm pretty much constantly vaping though. Gotta love it

After smoking 2.5 packs a day for close to 28 years, I've tried many times to quit. I received my kit the 2nd week of Dec and tapered down to a few cigs a day by New Years Eve. I haven't had one this year!!! (Yay)

Riddle80 is my Daughter, and Dukeboy is my future son-in-law. We're a "vaping household" now thanks to e-cigs. (BIG YAY!!!)
