Default Please advise regarding DSE103 Mini

Hiya everyone! Im new to this forum, new to the whole idea of e-smoking and just ordered myself an e-ciggie from qsaid.co.uk.The kit arrived yesterday and I must confess: Im extremely dissapointed...I dont get enough vapour, the battery seems to play tricks on me, the medium strenght nicotine cartridges have no strenght whatsoever ...dunno...Im just dissapointed on having spent £45 on a product that doesnt help at all.
I'd like to order another starter kit from totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk, but am very sceptical now and dont really want to spend another £50 just to get a second dissapointment.
Can anyone tell me what should i do or buy in order to get more vapour and feel more like smoking?
    Thanks!

    Hi and welcome,

This looks like a Gamucci micro, I made the mistake of buying one for £50.00 a while back and sent it back for a refund.

The atomiser is poor and the battery is weak so see if you can get a refund as you won't get much smoke out of it.

The 901 is a great workhorse and produces lots of vapour and is probrably the most popular on this forum, I think it's just called the mini on the Totally Wicked website.

Sorry to here of your bad experience we all make mistakes luckily I found this website before buying!

I can recommend the mini (901) from wicked I have the platinum one (only difference is colour!) and had no problems, the only thing to mention is the battery only last about 4hrs but you do get 2 in pack, then if you take to it can always get more and a spare atomiser always a good idea but would wait see if you like before spending anymore money? You get a good vapour and taste! depending what you were smoking before I was on superking light so medium cartridges were fine for me to give you an idea of strength!

    Oh dear,
Another falls victim to the supermini. Don't worry, many of us including myself have bought the wrong starter kit. Try and get a refund. The TW kit will be excellent and you wont go wrong with it.

    Other reputable sites are
    www.e-cigs.co.uk
Electronic Cigarettes, Stop Smoking, Electric Cigarette, E Liquid, Alternative

The above sites (and totally wicked) have a presence in this forum and will go out of their way to help.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Sorry you've been disappointed.

I have a feeling that there's a trading law in the UK that says a customer can change their mind for a refund within seven days of the sale. Maybe I imagined it but it might be worth asking the Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards or something.

Another thing to check is if they misrepresented the product or lied in any way, if they did they are in breach of contract and you are entitled to compensation.

    Esmoking myths

UK regulation of sales, marketing and promotion

If all else fails you could say it's faulty, which in a way it is, none of those things are great. You don't have to accept an exchange and can ask for your money back but there's a time limit so don't mess about, I don't know how long you've got I'm afraid.

    DSE901 mini is good
    Intellicig Evo has good reviews

I had a look for the website you mentioned and got this - E Cigarette Direct: The Tobacco-Free Smoking Alternative

If that's the one you ordered from there are a couple of things on the first page alone that you could dispute. They say it's healthier - there is no proof of this and they shouldn't be making unsubstantiated claims, they legally aren't allowed to make medical claims either. They say a cartridge lasts the equivalent of 20 cigarettes - no super mini cartridge lasts that long, 1-6 at best.

There's probably more deception in the FAQs if you can be bothered to check.

Can't confirm. SLB (does Your battery fit have the SLB+serial # stamp printed on? otherwise it is not a DSE103) DSE103 works as good as DSE901.
Just older design for not so advanced factory equipment, wasted money for my 2.

RMA the battery (1 of 2 arrived with a defective air sensor here) and get a 10ml bottle of high nicotine e-liquid from a seller with good references here and a insuline injector needle from Your pharmacist, fill up the cartdriges, will give You enough vapour. And dont forget to clean the atomizer daily in > 70% alcohol bath (suck it dry with vacuum cleaner after), and immediately after the autocleaning cycle occurs.

You just need 2-5 days to get used to it, but it works, You will not want a tobacco cigarette again after 2 weeks

And remember, You cant compare the vapour amount with tobacco smoke which contains many poisonous gases and particles which make it look like "more"

I called the supplier of my mini DSE 103 and asked for a refund...amazingly I had no problem in getting it.The supplier said they only get a very few back for refunds so I dont even have to fill in a Returns Form.Weird...but who cares as long as i get my money back?
In the meantime, I've ordered myself the Mini Platinum Ciggie from TW and am waiting for my kit to arrive, hopefully on friday, as I've been told.
Thanks again guys for everything! This site is really great!

That's good news, they must be a reasonably responsible supplier. The website front page wasn't as bad as some, at least they don't claim to sell quit smoking devices.
