    Question First charge problems! Normal?

Hello, noob here. Sorry if this has been asked before. Ive looked but cannot find anything related.

I got my milano e-cig today and after reading the booklet provided put it on to charge for the five hours recommended.

11 hours later and after taking a puff from the new unit (I kept trying periodically to have a go) it flashed at me again suggesting more charge was needed. The light had long been green on the charger and after having a puff 10 hours into the charge it flashed-leaving me dissapointed-again and then refused to even light up while i pulled on it.

I plugged it back in and the light is red again. IS this normal and if so how long does it need to be left undisturbed?

I don't know what model yours is but it looks short.
10-11 hours is pretty good for a mini or pee-wee from what I understand. Of course it depends on how you smoke.

You really need a spare battery or two.

Ahh, so you didn't smoke it for 11 hours?

If that's the case I'd say you have a faulty charger or battery.

Although (again not knowing your model) they tend to flash if you take too long of a drag, and some of them shut down for a time because of that.

Nope, not smoked for 11 hours, well over 12 now (i really need to go sleep) :S.

Its supposed to have a shutdown mechanism after a 5 second drag and im nowhere near that.

    Again thanks for answering

I would contact your supplier. My guess is a faulty battery. Bummer to get a problem like that when you're first trying to get started.

    Default Update

Well just an update that might come in useful to future noob shoppers.

The milano cigarette from Iwantoneofthose was a bust, wasn't keeping a charge even after an initial 18 hour charge but i spoke to customer services and they were very good (read on here that they weren't) and are giving me a full refund with free returns too.

So after reading this forum like my life depended on it i went and bought a Supermini kit from the electronic cigarette company. I know it doesn't have the feedback that the mini DSE-901 has but i was prepared to sacrifice battery and filter time for a realistic cig.

Also got some refillable filters and juice from e-cigs.

I don't plan on smoking it anywhere that i wouldn't smoke an analogue so thats that. Hope i made a right choice and eagerly await my purchase

Finally i just wanted to say THANKS in a big way for the creators and members of this forum. There is a lack of information out there about this and this place REALLY helped a ton.

Will let you know how the new smoke goes
