Default i am so new... help me decide/recommendations!

I'm pretty new to this whole e-cig thing but I have spent a few hours dedicated to the online research of them and I'm pretty sure that I know what I want... I just have a few questions. Do atomizers crap out? What is the point of buying more than one atomizer? How long do they last? What is the difference between the 901 mini on bestecig.com and puresmoker.com? cuz there is a hell of a price difference!

I'm pretty sure I want a smaller one, unless there is a HUGE advantage in the pens. Is there?

I'm debating a 901 mini, the m-402 or m-401, or the m-201 if i was to go with a pen.

Feedback on these or better recommendations for a beginner? Cuz wow it is hard to find information on this stuff sometimes.

    Peace

Oh and is the juicing process for refilling cartridges simpler and cheaper than just buying cartridges? I read something about syringes... Lol.

Man I miss cigarettes, this stuff is so exciting cool

Ok soooo one more thing then I'll leave you all alone.
I have found a few more sites that offer the DSE-901b. I am pretty sure that is the same as the 901 Mini. Also... should I buy it from:
    litecigusa
    thesmokelessshop
    puresmoker
    bestecig

all these sites have slightly different deals with different prices...where'd you get yours and what is the deal that has worked out for you? best bang for buck, good customer service, easy to buy liquid refills, and fast shipping are all obvious things to look for

Yes atomizers crap out. It's luck of the draw on how long they last. That is the reason you buy more than one, if you're planning on using this to quit or replace cigarettes you want to have a backup.
Everything craps out, it's a good idea to have a spare of everything if you're going to be depending on this.

I went with pens because of battery time. I smoke pipes so I knew I wouldn't mind the extra size and weight. Cartridge and battery is the advantage to pens.

I've only dealt with Puresmoker, Bestecig you're buyign direct from China. They say shipping cost is "only about $20". Puresmokers' most expensive shipping is $10.95 and if you go to $99 it's free.
Then there's the issue if you need to return. I'm sure that's not as easy to do when sending to China, or at least easier when sending to California.

Juice tastes a lot better than stock cartridges and is cheaper. Cartridges don't last long so even if you're buying distributor flavors in cartridges you'll want some juice.

I do recommend the M401/ M402 and also the penstyle M201 especially if you are a cheapo like me who wants to buy lotsa stuff but pay the least amount for shipping....

Returns are usually not an issue for me cos most sellers will require you to pay shipping one way/ two way for returns. Most of the time, i'm better off buying new parts anyway. This is only my personal opinion. Please don't flame me....

The first question would be are you trying to quit smoking or just looking for something extra for when smoking isn’t convenient?

I’m also new to this and I got the e-cig to try and stop smoking. My opinion so far is this. I started with the 901b there are lots of sellers to chose from. If I had it to do again I would get a pen style. If like me you are trying to stop smoking you may find you are vaping a lot. With the 901 I seem to always need to refill the cart or change the batteries. I really like the size of the 901 but the pen style is only a little bigger, and from reading lots of post I know than the carts and batteries are bigger in the pen style. I would not get anything smaller if you plan on vaping a lot.

I would order something and try it out (no point in investing a bunch of money intill you try one). Some people try to taper off analogs, but if you are going to try and stop analog smokes cold turkey make sure you have a liquid you like and extra batteries and atomizer, before you make the jump.

A syringe is helpful if you're filling blank cartridges, but I hear with patience it can by done by dripping into them and waiting for it to soak in.
If you're going to be topping up full cartridges a syringe isn't needed.
I also find a syringe to be a great way to measure mixtures.
