Want to try ecigs

Believe it or not, I have just heard about ecigs. Normally I order Marlboro lights from the Ukraine and smoke 2 packs a day. I would like to try the ecig but don't know anything about them. I would like something that is most like a regular cigarette sot that I feel more like I am really smoking. I have been smoking for 39 years and I know I need to quit but just can't seem to. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. I live in Texas.

A lot of newbs ask this same question camoore. If you go to the new members page and read some of the threads there, you might at least get a better idea of what you are looking for...then take it from there. Just a suggestion

camoore15 most everyone is just hearing about the E-Smoke. So don't feel alone! There are a few models out there. I prefer the PeeWee from Puresmoker.com it also known as the SuperMini or the RN4081 depending on what site you purchase from. (I really recommend Puresmoker.com though, Steve is really helpful there) The reason I say the Peewee is because it looks and feel a lot like a cigarette. I smoked a pack a day since I moved to e-smoking I haven't wanted another cigarette since. Strange to hear yes, but it's true.

Many members on the forum will tell you to go with the DSE901 (this is also called the Mini) Although I haven't tried this myself, apparently it produces plenty of vapor and seems to be durable.

There are tons of members here that are willing to help you out so take your time, I'm sure you will love E-Smoking (or "vaping") just as much as we do

I would read as much as you can here. If you look in the “suppliers forum” there is a list of sellers you can buy from, if you decide to.

You`ll find a lot of people try the e-cig without intending quitting (me being one of them!) I quit after a week or so and not looked back, So it worth the price of a starter kit just to see if you can take to it? imo the 901 (mini) is as good a place as any to start (cheap and good vapour/throat hit) as above read as many posts as you can then you will get a good idea what would probably suit you? I find them to be great. I am a fan of the pen style simply because the cartridges and batteries last longer.

I am so glad I found the E-cigs. I have been a smoker for since 1974, and was smoking at least a pack a day. It has been just around 2 weeks and I am down to under 10 analog (real smokes) cigs.

It was so weird to wake up one day and my lungs felt so good.

Give it a shot and use this forum and you will find that the E-cig, at least for me, was exactly what I needed in order to finally come to a point where I will be smoke free.

i live in canada, and would like to try purchasing, after reading some of the forum, it seems to me that ppl like the DSE901 and M401/402 a lot. i have found the supplier section...but i don't understand which products these are? are the 901/401/402 available only from other suppliers? much confused as to the models ppl are talking about, and the models that seem to be available from the suppliers... hope someone can help me... really would like to try...

There are many suppliers who sell the 901s...as many have pointed out, those suppliers listed here and are active around here are good bets to get your 901 from.

The m401/402 seems to be available only at royalsmoker and absolutelyecigs. If i missed other suppliers, please feel free to correct me. Litecig has been out of stock on the m401 for a while. Royalsmoker needs a minimum $500 order. With shipping, that could come up to more than $700 if you are in the US.

You could order from absolutelyecigs but their shipping is a little slow. One of our members here had to wait for 18 days! I, however got it in a week and my second order in 5 days. The good part is, they are cheap and shipping is standard at $15 no matter how much you buy. Quality is great too. My advice is to stock as much as your budget permits to save some money. Again, this supplier is probably not suitable if you are used to getting next day deliveries from your local suppliers...

Senna I'm from Canada as well and the best place for us to order from is PureSmoker IMO (best prices too). I would recommend a classic penstyle or DSE 901 kit, plus some juice as well. Or buy one of each kit to see which you prefer. The only real difference is scale, the penstyle (which I use) is basically a bigger version of the 901 - they work the same way though.
