ok I've now put a new cartridge into my 3rd ecig and I can see what you mean by making sure it's not dry. So now this one looks like it has more liquid on it than the other 2 and I'm getting a little vapour but still not much

this is in answer to Pete, I think I clicked on the wrong post..sorry

Are you saying I should cover the tiny airhole? Just for a second?

i had this too with carts, they are too dry sometimes.

hey parapo, I do believe I've just had my first hit of nicotine since last night YEAH

I covered the little hole as I took a draw, only for a second, and got vapour and a decent draw...wooooooo hoooooo

Just hope I don't burn out the battery/atomiser doing this but right now I just need a smoke.hehe

i do it very frequently, and never had a problem.

also check if the led lights up while normal draging.
some batteries take forever to light up,and get a jump-start with the closing-hole trick.

    Hey man,

Any e-cig takes some breaking in. Keep smoking on it unless it explodes or heats up really hot. The dse901 smokes pretty good and is a great first e-cig. Pretty reliable too, what you have will probably like you 1.5 to 2 months before you need to refresh your hardware supply. Once again, the atomizer likes lots of liquid at first and the primer takes a little while to burn off, depending on how you smoke.
Also make sure that your batteries are fully charged.

    Good luck!

    Hi
I am using both chargers to keep the batteries charged.
What do you mean by the primer?
Also, as I am using the cartridges, do I also have to buy liquid too?

yes, all 3 batteries light up when I take a drag though I don't get vapour as well, only on 1 of the batteries do I get vapour when I cover the little hole like you told me to.

I'd also like to know that if I left the batteries charging overnight then how long would my ciggy last during the day? As I'm a heavy smoker 20 a day would I need to have at least 2 batteries fully charged.

Also after I have say around 10 puffs, should I disconnect the battery part from the atomizer part every time or can I leave it all together until I need to charge the battery.

    Sorry for so many questions

    you can leave them together.

as far as battery charging, they say leave it longer on the charger the first time, although lithium batteries don't benefit from this like older ni-cd batts did.

i can't remember how long a new battery last, but after a week you will get 3 hours (maybe 4) heavy vaping.

you can leave the battery connected until it needs charged.
Also buying bottles of fluid and topping up carts is alot more reasonable price wise than buying cartridges. You can also get fluid that tastes alot better than carts, but remember it takes a while for your taste buds to get back to normal so hang in there and the flavors will get alot better.
