I am very fond of the two RN4072s that I bought from Jason some time ago. Lovely vapour and very tasty carts. I do think of them as behaving more like a pipe than a cigarette, though - a great armchair smoke.

Just got my pen yesterday with USB battery from Steve. Way more vapor than the 901s I've been using. I do seem to be having a wicking problem with the carts. Brand new blank carts filled with syringe from the bottom. After the first 10 puffs (I tend to do 3-4 pretty quickly) I seem to only get 2 puffs before I have to put it down for a few mins. to let the cart wick down to the atomizer. If not, I start to get a burnt taste. After a few mins. I get another 2 puffs. This can go on for hours so it's not that the cart is dry. My first fill floats a thin film of juice on the cartridge top. I can top up with 3-6 drops but still only get a few quick puffs before I have to let it rest. I went to the pen so I would not have to top off so often as with the small 901 carts. Any ideas???

gryffandor, I'd say experiment with your power supply. Try a powered USB hub, or a mains USB power supply (making sure the amperage is at least 1A or 1000mA). If there's one thing I've learned from my SD, it's that enough/the correct power makes all the difference in the world!
Using just a penstyle, I used to be able to get only 3 or 4 drops in when topping off a cartridge. Using my SD with the same penstyle atomizer, I can fit in 10 to 15 drops, meaning the cart is being wicked out much more efficiently, and the only difference is the power supply.

I too am a fan of the penstyle. Jumped in before I'd seen this forum and bought a super which quickly proved to be insufficent for me, moved on to the 901 which isn't too bad and then found the penstyle, perfect. Added a usb passthrough recently and waiting for the usb power pack. Already have loads of batteries and atomisers and liquid and I can now withstand a siege........

You got an adaptor? Where from? Who?
I got my 4072 yesterday and I'm giving it a workout now. I got this really for when driving as the SD/901 combo drinks the juice from the cart. I am also seeing a slowness in wicking from the cart.

Thanks Yvilla but I'm using a 3000mAh power pack that delivers up to 1.5A output so I don't think weak power is the problem. I get the same result directly from a USB 2 port on the computer. If anything I'm wondering if I'm supplying too much power?

Well, how about the possibility that the particular atomizer you are using is not connecting as well with the lead on the USB battery? (Remembering some posts from a while back about that).
I just don't think it could be too much power.

Pity they only sell to the US Sun Vaporer - that does indeed seem to be a good one!
