E-pipe and plastic taste

Dear esmokers, I'm happy to be here with you. I'm beginner, bought e-pipe couple days ago and smoking for about three days. I have DSE 601. I tried several models, including penstyle and super mini, but this would be simply the best if it weren't for one thing - about 70% puffs are OK, but the rest tastes "plastic". I tried several cartridges and always the same effect. I think it is caused by fibres from the cartridge, but the atomizer is clean. I'm afraid it's natural, because the cartridge "lays" on the atomizer. Do anybody has the same experience, or do you think it has some other cause? Thank you very much for your replies.

I must add, that the "plastic taste" I mainly smell in my nose. As for mouth, I just maybe feel a little bit more scratching in my throat.

Hi Mell, welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure what might be causing that taste but wonder if it could be something to do with the atomiser getting too dry. It might go away if you try dripping some eliquid directly onto the atomiser.
