I smoke about 1 - 1 1/2 Marlboro Light 100's packs per day. What amount of nic mg should I get for my e-juice? Can you re-use prefilled cartridges? What is dripping vs. (I can't remember the word for it)? ![]() I've been all over the site and there is so much great information, my head is going to explode! I want to be sure I e-smoke the right way the first time! Thanks in advance! |

Hi, welcome to the forum. I'd say the most sensible thing to do would be to start low with nicotine and use a little bit of high for occasional spikes. Only go high if you have to, you just build up tolerance and have to have more for the same effect. There are lots of hints and tips here - Helpful links and videos for a new user. |

Personally I've found a local supplier of "Pure Pepermint Extract" which contains nothing but PG and pepermint extract, it seems to help if I make one of those drops the pepermint as it feels more like a cig even though I do not smoke menthols. <shrug> Good luck and I can tell you that it feels great, tastes good, etc. I'm just worried I'll go overboard with trying out all the liquids and be so far behind as far as costs go that it'll take me 2 years to catch up .Oh and LOVE the usb passthrough from puresmoker.com Vape at computer all day and don't have to change batts!

Take the total number of cigs per day... in your case around 35. Multiply by the strength. If that is indeed 0.7, that would be 35x0.7= 24.5 mg nicotine you would need per day with the liquid. I would guess you would be using around 2 classic-carts daily (or liquid to that worth; or more carts if they hold less like if you buy a mini - but those all equal to around the same intake total, being around 2 ml liquid's worth) - so that means you should be good at 24.5 divided by 2, so around 12.25 mg (= 12.25 mg per ml liquid). Which isn't available, so you have to get as close to that as you can. I would advise to go for 11 mg strength; but also buy some cartridges or liquid that is one step higher - use that one, just for ten minutes before going back to your 'standard', for any hard moments you encounter (like that famous first smoke of the day, or after a meal - whenever craving sets in without your standard strength being able to satisfy you, use the higher step for a bit...) but go back to the lower as soon as the craving gets satisfied, so after ten minutes or so - don't go and get used to the higher nicotine else you will be going higher and higher, while you wánt to go lower over time, probably...

I would start with something in the "medium" neighborhood. But really, if you decide you like this and want to get into it, I'm finding the best way is to get some higher nic and do your own dilutions. That's an option to look into later, but it seems that what works best for me is vaping something lower and then having something higher on hand to do a couple of drips now and then, when I feel that urge to have a cigarette and vaping just isn't cutting it. That's working to keep me totally away from the cigarettes.

...for the great information. And Kate, thanks so much for the videos! I just placed my very first order w/PureSmoker and cannot wait to get it. If this helps me to cut down or even better, quit! I will be sooooo happy! Cheers to all on ECF! You all rock! |
