Default Evo, after using it for first time.

    Hi all,

After my Evo turning up with no batteries I contacted John at Intellicig and he got the bats sent out to me next day delivery (thanks John).

Ok I am sold, it takes away the cravings and give me something to do with my hands being able to blow the odd smoke ring is a bonus.

The bat life on these is fantastic, I charged it Sat morning and im still using it on the same charge today (Monday).

However I have noticed that you don’t really get a lot of vapour from one cart, anyone got any smart solutions, i.e. can you put more cotton wool in the cart with more juice or if you fill the carts up your self do they last longer.

    Thanks in advance.

    Jay

    Hi Jay,
The single best thing that you can do for more vapour is add a drop of glycerine to the cart. You'll be amazed! Intellicig are now providing larger carts for the Evo but they're not available in all strengths yet. John will have further details on this.

Once my carts have run dry, I use a paperclip to pop out the inner tube through the little mouthpiece hole, extract the little bit of wadding and squeeze dry in a paper towel. To refill I put a couple of drops in the empty inner, then re-insert the wadding and slowly top up with more juice until it's saturated but not overflowing.

The newer, higher capacity carts are fantastic, one that I refilled lasted me a good while yesterday! I understand all the new black carts are to be larger size

You mean one cartridge lasted a whole day? Then it must have huge dimensions. 2 ml of liquid take up quite a space I am afraid.

IMHO the new cartridges last almost half as long again as the old ones did. ymmv.

Thanks guys, I tried refilling one of my carts last night but found that when I took a drag liquid just came out of the mouthpiece hole. All I did was to drop some juice in the cart, I didnt remove anything.

    What am I doing wrong?

You have to remove the inner container and drop directly into it. Otherwise fluid will go to the grooves distributing air to the mouthpiece hole.

Frankie is right. If you use an opened-up paperclip or a pin you'll find that you can push the cart up so that you can see the top easily (or take it out - it's up to you). Then it's easy to fill with a dropper. If you take the cart out fully make sure that you push it back fully into the mouthpiece. Like so many thinks it's easy once you get the hang of it.

I always took it out all the way and cleaned the inside of the mouthpiece and the inner container from the outside. There usually were traces of liquid on the walls. And I almost never had problems with liquid in mouth this way. Not with EVO, but with similar carts.
