Yet another new guy.
Hello, all.
Just wanted to take a second to introduce myself. I'm one of the many new e-cig users that will be around for, I hope, a very long time.
I've been a 20 a day smoker for around 20 years and have come to the decision that it's time to get off the tobacco. I love smoking...truly love it...but the health issues that it can cause are no longer something that's just in the back of my head...It's recently become very, very real.
I just ordered an EVO from Intellicigs along with 25 refill cartridges and the USB charger...I'm hoping they'll be here within a couple of days or so because I'm super anxious to put down the Marlboros and start doing something healthier.
I'd like to give HUGE thank yous to Scott for his EVO review on youtube and to Leaford for some of the reviews he's done...I almost bought a cheaper super-mini from one of the lesser reputable companies until I saw those reviews and became convinced that I'd be disappointed with that choice. Based on Scott's review I decided to get the EVO and I'm sure I'll be happy I did.
Now I'd like to know...What's the best juice out there? I'm not talking taste or price or name or flavor varieties, I'm talking about what's the best juice available that will give me a good flavor and the nicotine I need without blowing out my atomizer or decreasing the life of my cig...
Any ideas?

Hi Terraphon, welcome to the forum.
It's hard to say for sure which eliquids are better quality because so little is known about them. As far as atomiser life is concerned you want something that leaves as little residue as possible when vapourised. This thread might be of interest to you - Black Stuff in Atomisers - *E-Cigtest, the ultimate electronic cigarettes review site and forum* Le site de la cigarette électronique
Have a look at the pictures from Knutselpeter's residue tests here - Ampullen en Liquid testje - *E-Cigtest, the ultimate electronic cigarettes review site and forum* Le site de la cigarette électronique
Not all eliquids were tested but you can see that Janty and Ruyan leave little mess on the spoon after being evaporated.
As far as safety is concerned, the only tests available are for Ruyan and Wicked eliquids. Both are thought to be free from known toxins.

I havent heard anything anything negative about johnson creek or puresmoker's juice clogging up atomizers. Mostly it's a taste preference on the quality juices. Dusty did a great review of JC e-juice.
If you take care of your atomizers and buy quality stuff you shouldn't have a problem.

Johnson Creek used to kill atomisers in the blink of an eye but they have changed their production methods and don't seem to have that problem any more. They do have a problem with some samples turning green for some unknown reason.

e-liquid flavour is an incredibly subjective area. Just remember that you're not restricted to traditional tobacco flavours - I have found that TW apple is very good (as were the apple carts that came with my penstyles). The carts that come with the Evo are very tasty indeed - I'd give them a try before worrying about liquid. In fact the first thing I'd get if I were you is a bottle of glycerine - a drop of this in a cart will give you MUCH more vapour (if that's what you like). All the best - I'm sure that you won't regret your decision!

Thanks for the replies, folks.
I've done a bit more research and have ordered some puresmoker e-juice. I'm still not sure about the JC stuff. I'm getting mixed information.
I think I may just order a couple replacement atomizers from Intellicigs and give it a shot, anyway.
At least I'll know.
