I just received my DSE901 from Totally Wicked yesterday. I charged up the batteries as instructed and am using one of the carts that come with the unit. I find that I have to draw quite hard to get anything to happen and about half the time nothing does or it cuts off after a 1-2 seconds. I thought at first that it might be a battery issue so I switched to the other battery with the same results. Even on the drags that the unit seems to work I have to pull with much more force than I do on my M401 EVO that I have been using for a couple of weeks. Do I have a defective unit or do the 901's just require more sucking strenth than I possess? Really...I've been trying to get this thing to work all day and my mouth is kinda sore. I'm glad this DSE901 wasn't my first e-cig as I would still be smoking my Camels. Anyone else have problems with the DSE901's from TW? Also, how is Totally Wicked's customer service for problems like these?

Hmmm, I got my 901 just this past Wednesday from mad vapes and have been vaping strong since it got here. I have had no trouble at all. Did you order an extra atty? It doesn't take much to draw the vapor. Are you using an automatic or a manual? |

I am using an automatic battery and in order to activate the battery and get the led to turn on I have to draw pretty hard. My M401 EVO is also an auto but doesn't require anywhere near the force. I did buy an axtra atomizer, but I am fairly certain this is a battery issue. Or maybe I just don't suck as well as the average gal. I'm glad to hear your 901 works well! Are you using a manual or auto? I'm just really disappointed in this setup!

That is actually a RN4075, that TW sells... not a true dse-901. RN's run a bit hotter, have a low bridge and to me are a harder draw. The only way I know of improving the airflow is with a dremel lol Perhaps using one of the kr808 adapters since they are made to allow air and have same threading as a 901?

I am using an automatic battery too and in order to activate the battery sometimes I have to place my finger on & off over the hole. Why?

First time I tried my penstyle batteries from TW - i thought I was going mad - no draw AT ALL. Discovered that 1-3 times I had my finger over the air vent - stopping any draw, or making it a lot harder than it should be... My own damn fault for having massive fingers! |
