Default MyEcigarette or V-Cig or Something else?

    Hi guys,

This is my first post here. I've been browsing for a while learning a bit about e-cigarettes and I'm finally going to buy one. I just want some confirmation that I'm choosing a good one.

My requirements are: a very small device, from a UK supplier. Being able to use varied flavours would be good too. And the cheaper the better.

I think I've narrowed it down to the 84mm Supermini at MyECigarette.co.uk, or the 89mm Supermini V3 at V-Cig.com.

The MyECigarette version is £29(inc. post). Cartridges come in two flavours and cost £7(inc. post) for 10. They also look to be easily refillable with eJuice from somewhere like E-cigs.co.uk. It costs extra for a second battery. MyECigarette is listed on this forum's General list of suppliers.

The V-Cig version is £28(inc. post). Cartridges again come in two flavours but are only £16.50(inc. post) for 50 cartridges. They don't look like they are easily refilled though. V-Cig isn't on the list of suppliers here.

I'm leaning towards the MyECigarette version, because I'll be able to try a variety of flavours by refilling with difference juices. But ideally I don't want to have to go through the hassle of refilling cartridges myself. I can't quite work out how much you get when you order a bottle from E-Cigs.co.uk though. I'm just assuming it must be better value.

So, if any of you guys have used one of these suppliers, or know of another reputable place where you can by a very small e-cig, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks in advance!

How much do/did you smoke? If you are more than an occasional social smoker, I don't think you will find yourself satisfied with those super-duper minis. The cartridges only last 25-30 puffs, 2-3 cigs, and the batteries only around 50, or two cartridges more or less. If you're a pack a day smoker, you'd need like 10 batteries to get through a day without recharging. The vapor production is pretty light, too.

I've tried 4 of these, from 3 different manufacturers. I haven't tried from those particular sellers, but I really doubt they've overcome the size limitations.

    Here's a mini-review of one:

    Oh, and welcome!

Welcome! I agree, you will probably be happier getting something like a dse-901 or penstyle to start. I always recommend an intellicig EVO though if you want a mini. It's a UK supplier, huge amounts of vapora, andthe battery life is amazing. Use the search to find a review for it. If you go to the website there's a review on the page also: Electronic Cigarettes, Stop Smoking, Electric Cigarette, E Liquid, Alternative Just don't get the original intellicig, it's not that great.

Actually, I haven't smoked in two weeks. I only used to smoke about 2-3 cigarettes a day, except on a night out where I could smoke 15.

I think that if I take out 4 cartridges and a spare battery on a night out, I should be fine. And If I'm using a higher dosage of nicotine I'll probably feel it.

The EVO seems a bit big for me. 108mm I think I read. But thanks for the recommendation.

    Ah, ok then.

I've always said, there is no best e-cig, just the best for you. If you are a light smoker, the super-duper mini ought to do fine. And you're absolutely right to get it locally, in case you need to exchange bad parts. I had several bad batteries among the ones I tried.

the evo has a smaller battery now so it brings it down to 95mm, about a 5hour run time, really can't rate this one highly enough
