Default E-Cigarette - Best tech invention since......

When I first heard about e-cigs a couple of weeks ago, I was blown away with this thing. I was skeptical at first that it wouldn’t be like smoking a real cig, but boy was I wrong. I’ve been smoking for about 19 yrs. now and this e-cig thing is FREAKING BADA$$!!!

I’ve quit “cold turkey” before and it was hard, but I have done it a couple of times. Ever since I got my DSE-901b I haven’t needed an analog since then and to be truthful don’t really want one at all. I really believe this is the next revolution in smoking….PERIOD!!! And, not some gimmick.

I really think the e-cig is the best tech invention since the DVR. At least personally for me.

So, what is your opinion on the best tech innovation before the E-CIG?

Hi posaune glad to hear you doing so well on e-cigs

I think the best tech leap (something to do with gadgets ) has to be broadband from dial up connections, It hard to imagine now how bad it was on a 56k max connection!

In health and enjoyment terms, the best I have yet known. It can only be trumped by liver-safe beer and rum!

    Hi Mufftrix,

Thanks for your input. Well......high speed is really not an invention but more of an improvement in only one aspect. The DVR had so many features over the VCR that I had to give it a technological breakthrough.

Now the internet is a good one to mention but has been around longer then most people know.

I take your point but most advances are just better solutions of old ideas? I see what you mean with dvr in difference of media etc and got to let you have that one, but in the end it still just a improvement of recordable media albeit in a different format and i`m still sticking with broadband

Another has to be HDTV you got to let me have that one?

I give you HDTV. I agree on that. It's a totally new technology and not just an improvement even though some can look at it as such. It is digital and not analog.

I still don't know about 56k to high speed. That's like having a small TV and getting a bigger one. Nothing different other than it is bigger.

Ok posaune we will agree to disagree on broadband then

Just me and gadgets spose haha! I overpaid for sky HD just to get it first now just got a HD camcorder that no doubt will be half price next year! had a xbox360 to get HDDVD then find out it was like betamax and vhs but luckily sold before market fell to pieces now got ps3 for blu-ray rips

Another one is mobile phones but that just same analog to digital

What about digital cameras? (yes I had one of first pieces of junk )

I guess digital cameras are okay, but I'm talking about revolutionary HUGE!!! advancements in technology.

Like horse and buggy to the automobile. Plane, Refrigerator, Television, Air Conditioner, Computer, etc.

I think e-cigs are one of them and pure genius. Nothing like it of it's kind.

I believe the thing that changed our lives most was the PC. My Remington typewriter would not communicate with anybody or play music and buy things... "All things digital" were then just a natural gradual development.

So, e-cig is the best tech invention since the Personal Computer introduced I think by the international business machines
