Default Something to boost the flavour up a bit???

There's so much good information in the DIY E-Liquid section of this forum, so why is it I just have to play around and attempt to do things my own way? Without great success I might add!!!

Last week I added a few drops of vanilla essence to my cartridge...Just any old stuff I had in the cupboard. Talk about a throat hit, it virtually knocked my throat out through the back of my neck. No way was I going to waste that cart though, so I vaped it through till there was nothing left....YIKES!

Today my recipe consisted of:

2.5ml(ish) 36mg nic - tobacco flavour
2ml (exact measurement) glycerin
1ml(ish) malibu (+ an extra swig from the bottle just for luck )

Well it's ok I suppose. It vapes good enough but there's very little taste to my new recipe.

I'll go order some LorAnn flavours but meanwhile, does anyone have any suggestions on what I can try next or how I can get decent taste to that malibu recipe?

I am having a hard time finding liquid in my area (New Jersey) the only thing I can find is flavoring that you add to tobacco. The local tobacco shop has all the flavors, fruity, mint, etc... I was wondering if you can put this in a ecig cartridge. Would it have any adverse effect on the atomizer?

The tobacco flavorings are very likely to have sugars in them. Sugars will foul and destroy your atomizer.

They do look good, don't they? But without knowing the ingredients, we can't tell if they're safe. And unfortunately, they probably do contain sugar which would most likely ruin the atomizer

Way back when I first joined the forum I asked if anyone had tried Tasty Puff flavours. Someone had and they tasted really bad as vapour apparently. I emailed Tasty Puff for a list of ingredients too and they replied but I don't have that reply any more because I decided to give it a miss.
