Default Drip on atomizer and cart at same time...drip vs. carts

I have a DSE-901b from puresmoker.

Is it any better to drip 2 drops on the atomizer and the cart at the same time and smoke it? At least it lasts longer, right? Or is this pointless?

Also, will the atomizer last longer if you only use carts vs. drips on the atomizer? You would think that carts are better because you don't have juice clogging up you atomizer. Don't know....what has been your experience?

If you are fine with the amount and temperature of vapour from carts, I think it is much better to fill the cart regularly and leave the atomizer alone.

When you drip on the atomizer, you will get hotter and richer vapour for shorter time and run the risk of flooding the atomizer, killing the battery, burning the atomizer if you smoke it dry - and some vendors say it shortens its life, too. So pick what is important to you.
