Default New To E-Cig Flavors Very Weak

Hello all, hopefully someone can shed some light on this for me.

I got my 901 2 days ago from E-Smokey with 7 different flavors including the standard tobacco/menthol carts that come with the kit.

Here is my problem, all the flavors are very very weak including the carts that came with it. I mean it's like I'm inhaling nothing, it is such a mild taste I can't differentiate any flavors.

I am getting ample vapor and tried all 3 atomizers and batteries I purchased with no change.

So my question is, all these flavors SO SO MILD that it is barely a taste or are my taste buds just not getting the flavor taste due to smoking for 20 years?

Thanks for any help and insight you could provide.

Yes, I tried all of them high, med, low, also I forgot to mention I dripped directly on the Atomizer with still no change. It is such a very faint taste that it's actually making me smoke regular cigarettes to get a taste in my mouth.

It's because your tastebuds are shot from smoking. Switch to vaping totally and your sense of taste will return. Then you'll taste the flavours.

Thanks for the reply BadTaste, how long does this usually take would you say before I can taste the flavors?

It should only take a few days before you can start getting some sense of the flavour. It then gets better the longer you don't smoke.

    A couple of possibilities:

With the 901 you really do need to use a primer puff. You will know when you are doing it right because you will feel the hit in the back of your throat.

Another possibility is the primer on the atomizer. It makes everything more or less generic smoke flavor for the first day.

With that being said, the RY4/Riskee and the Red Bull were the only flavors that had any taste to me before my taste buds recovered. Now I don't have any problems. Hang in there.

Cartridge flavours aren't usually very good, think about getting some eliquid to refill or drip.

    Kate,

They are all liquids except the ones included with the Starter Kit.

I guess I just got to hang in there with a non flavored smoke and hopefully my taste buds will start tasting the flavors. If not, I can see stopping the e-cig and vaping very quickly.

    Sorry Buzzard, I misunderstood.

It's a pity you're having this problem and I sincerely hope it resolves for you. Many of us now prefer vaping to smoking, partly due to the yummy new flavours we can enjoy.
