Cloves used to be used for toothaches because they work as a mild anesthetic.

Havanaharrys, if you do try it, please let us know how it is. I've yet to get around to placing an order with Janty.

I also smoked Djarums... I liked the lights and cherry flavors. I'll give Janty a try... I was wondering if any place offered clove juice. The rum juice sounds pretty good as well!

I smoked only cloves for 20+ years; I've heard repeatedly that I'd cough up blood or similar heinous tales - never once happened and I started with the unfiltered Djarums. I've been strictly eCig for *just* about a month, and the closest appealing taste I've found has been a combination of vanilla and the clove from PureSmoker. I just re-ordered juice, and since PureSmoker was out of vanilla, I opted to try Janty's version since I could get both. I'll report after the initial tweaking is done. |

Reading this thread made me remember my high school days when I smoked a clove here and there, and I'd really like to get that experience in an ecig every now and then too, so I went to my favorite DIY supply site, Mountain Rose Herbs | Bulk organic herbs, spices & essential oils and searched for clove stuff. They've got powders and other forms, but are out of essential oil at the moment, but I'm about to notify them that they're out and that I would like some, so hopefully they'll restock it soon. Anyway, here's their page explaining a lot of info about clove bud essential oil. Clove Bud Essential Oil I might could buy some powder or whole cloves and dissolve in some alcohol. I may try that and DIY some clove juice if they don't stock the essential oil again real soon. Thanks for rehashing good memories of cloves and giving me another DIY project to attempt. |

| I tried the Janty clove and it was not so strong. The rum at Janty is wonderful

I totally forgot to mention something I tried. "Spice Cake" at dietsmokes.com looked interesting so I ordered it. Yum Yum Yummy! Mixed with a little Vanilla and it's delicious! |

| True Vapor has clove juice as well. It has a good strong clove flavor in my opinion. Almost a little too potent for my taste. |

I wonder if mixing one of these "strong" clove liquids -- say three drops -- with a vanilla-ish type "tobacco" flavoring like JC tobacco wouldn't produce something which approximated a Djarum Special? Maybe I could dust my lips with a hit of sugar first... Mmmm... missing a clove right now. |
