Chronic Headaches
I just got my first e-cig (dse-901) on Fri the 30th and used it for the first time on Sat the 31st. I took like 3 hits off it by dropping 2 drops on the atomizer with no cartridge of 11mg juice and got a crazy headache. After that I hit it maybe twice more that day, a few times on Sun all the while never getting rid of my headache and I was takin advil as well. Monday came and I didn't use it at all headache went away by bed time. Tues I took 2 or so hits and didn't get a headache, Wed a couple hits no headache and yesterday I got home from work and drank a few glasses of wine and was dying for a real cig but decided to smoke the 901 instead and puffed heavy....about an hour later I got a mild headache. Today I have not used it yet and don't have any headaches. So my question is.....I read on here about people getting headaches during the first week or so of use then it subsiding how many of you new users expireenced this? Those that did, did the headaches eventualy stop coming and how long till you no longer got any?

When I started... everything hurt. I'd touch my head and I'd get a shooting, pain. My chest, same thing, shooting pain. Anyplace on my body I touched left my in tears of agony. I went to the doctor and he told me my finger was broken.
Seriously though... I did have a few mild headaches, some pimples and some mild body aches. Were they from switching? Quitting analogs? I don't know...
You should see your doctor if you suspect anything is wrong... you know that, I'm sure.
Good luck...

Your dripping and not using the cart? Even if you drip you should leave the cart in. What kind of flavor are you using? Some brands make people sick, I have had problems with the RY4 juice and carts, gave me a swollen tongue and major headache. Try a different flavor, maybe something more mellow, less sweet.

What nic level are you using and does it match your analog habit? I started out with the 36mg juice, dripping mostly and I have suffered all the symtoms you mentioned plus by the end of the day, a very sore throat. Now that I am a week in to the transition, I find that I'm not pulling on my ecig as often, I've cut back to 24mg and the side effects are less by the hour. Hang in there and just look for the levels that work for you. Its totally worth it!

I'm having headaches too. It's not unbearable, not really bad at all, just noticable. Sort of like a "ponytail headache" in my temples. I also have 11mg liquid. I thought at first I may have vaped too much, but reading how little you have used it, maybe it's a withdrawel symptom. I've experienced very simular feelings comming off caffine.

Are headaches a symptom of PG-allergy?

Oh yeah, one more thing....I had already thought it was sort of odd that if I had vaped too much that the headache was the only symptom. I haven't experienced any palpatations, shakes or anything else that would indicate too much nic, so that's why after reading your post, I really think it's more of a withdrawel symptom. That's just my newbie opinion though....

Providing your not simply sensitive to the PG, which will either take a week or so of use to get used to, or longer than that you'll need to look into trying VG instead.
It is quite possible that with going off the analogs "cold turkey" albeit the nicotine that you will still experience withdrawl sympoms thank will include headache and body aches as your body adjusts.
Try drinking lots of water, and more particularly sipping water as you vape. That is what helps me the most.
But, if problems persist or worsen your best to make a visit to your doctor and discuss it with them.

Nothing newbie about it. Actually makes a lot of sense even more if you look at it as more a "detox" situation.

I personally didn't have any withdrawl symptoms other than if i overdone the vaping i'd get real lethargic and have to sink into the couch for a while. I started with 24mg then after three weeks i went to 16mg.
If you was smoking a lot and started on 11mg it could be lack of noctine.
Here is a link to some common withdrawl symptoms. Common Withdrawal Symptoms After You Quit Smoking - QuitSmokingSupport.com
Headaches are pretty consistently mentioned.
Smokem had some good advice there. Give it a while, if things get worse go see the doctor.
Hope it gets better for you.
