Woot.com - today only
Hey,
I just wanted to let every one know that today only, the 14th of February, Woot.com is offering a new USB powerpack for $21 including shipping. It's 2,000 mAh. I thought it was a good deal.

That is a great deal but the 500mA output is not enough. You need at least 1000mA for an ecig.
Specifications:
- Battery Cell: Lithium Polymer
- Power Capacity: 2000 mAh@5V
- Rated Input: DC 5V
- Rated Output: DC 5V, Max 500 mA
- Size: 3.3(L) x 2.3(W)x 0.5(H) Inches – 96(L) x 53(W) x 15(H) mm
- Weight: 2.5oz – 70g

Not sure it will work

Thanks Chris--but I am not sure it will work with our USB passthoughs as the specs show: "Rated Output: DC 5V, Max 500 mA" and we need at least 1000mA "1amp" output--but check it out-- www.woot.com --Sun

I can confirm what metoke is saying. I tried to make a passthru from an old motorola cell phone charger the other day. 5.0v 550mA. It was way too little power, almost not vapor.

For what it's worth, APC's website says the Mobile Power Pack has been discontinued. There are still tons of them out there (Amazon, eBay, etc.)

This power pack has been discontinued for so long, that I would not even recommend at this point buying one so I am closing this thread.
Thanks,
Sun
