Default My Very First Newbie Question

Ok I was trying out some of the sampler cartridges that I got with my DSE 901 2 days ago. I put in a cartridge that said regular 0 mg. I figured it was regular tobacco with no nicotine like the regular I got with nicotine. Turns out it was some kind of mint or spearmint flavor. I smoked it for a bit but it is not my thing as I like tobacco taste. Now I can't get the taste out of the ecig. I'm assuming its in the atomizer and I haven't made any spare purchases yet. Can someone recommend a way of getting rid of that taste without damaging the atomizer?

From what I understand, short from cleaning it by methods people have tried here (boiling, steaming, everclear, draining, etc) the only other alternative is keep vaping what you like until the other taste is gone.

Try blowing out the atomizer from the battery end and then drip a few drops of the new flavor in the atomizer a vape away. I find that after about doing this 3 times, the old flavor is history.--Sun

I usually just carry on vaping with the new flavour until the old flavour has gone.....but I have to say it's amazing just how long it can take for the old flavour to completely disappear.

Thanks for the tips guys. I tried dripping and that seemed to help alot. Guess I have to invest in some extra atomizers next pay day.
