About how many puffs doest it take off a janty dura at 16 mg to approximatly be the equivilant to one cigarette?

Depending on what type of cigarette you're referring to and what type of puffing style you have, I've heard various reports, with the average being anywhere from 10-15 puffs for typical analog-type drags.

Depends on what type of analogs you smoked, in order to give a better estimate on how many puffs it takes to equal the nicotine output.

The general consensus is that 10-12 puffs @ 16mg = 1 analog cig.

Dr Laugesen says that the Ruyan 16mg equals half to a third of the nicotine per puff that is in a puff from a 1.5mg cig.

Another way to look at it is if you use two drops per five minutes (a drop is approximately 0.05ml or 20 in 1ml) then that's about the length of time you would spend smoking a cig. An average cig gives 1mg of nic so the eliquid would have to be 10mg to equal one cig.

Thank you very much. I smoke parliment lights, about a pack and a half a day. I just started to try and not smoke analogs today. Ive been up since 7 and have had 3 which is really good for me! Real good! I intend to jump into these e cigs head first to stop smoking analogs. If i quit the e cig at all will have to be determined. I think I might just eventually go to the lowest dosage, we will see. I will be asking tons of questions so I can absorb as much information as possible. So keep an eye out for my posts please because you guys have already helped me so fast I cant belive it. Thanks again!

I've been lurking on the forums for a few weeks, but I just registered on this one today.

I've just been reading non-stop and watching reviews and videos on youtube.

You can really get tons of great information just being a fly on the wall.

I'd have to agree with the 10-15 range also and I use the Janty Classic with 16mg. Good luck on quitting! I've been e-smoking for a week now and haven't had one analog since I started. I smoked 1 1/2 to 2 packs of Marlboro reds a day for 30 years up to last week,so it is possible to give them up.
