Question What kind of paint is used on the e-smokes?

I am very new to e-smoking and I am still deciding what brand, size and all of that to get. I have seen lots of posts on what exactly is in the e-liquid, but I didn't know if anyone has had the paint tested. I know that there was a huge scare about lead paint on toys imported . I just wanted to know what I was going to be carring around with me all day. Thanks!

not to put a damper on things but the e-cig scene is generally based on cheap chinese junk . from your posh branded cig to your generic 901 ...all chinese junk made by the lowest bidder..

lead paint on toys, melamine in baby milk, ????? in our e-liquid, ????? paint on our cigs.
Who knows...use at your own risk.

I understand use at your own risk and all of that. But, I, like many other people it seems, would at least like to be as informed as possible as to the risks associated. Too many people make uninformed decisions about things and wind up in a mess of trouble. Thanks for responding though.

Hi Nacoa, welcome to the forum.

I've not heard anything about the composition of the paint used on our devices. I think someone will have to ask some manufacturers for that information.

Good question though, it goes onto the long list of things we don't know and can't be sure about.

Well, as long as they haven't you can always choose to buy stainless steel atomizers (some have those) if this worries you

I was unaware of the stainless steel or the lead paint test kits. Great ideas. If anyone out there knows the answer or finds out before I do, please let us know. Thanks!
