Personally I have found that if I get that 'dying' for a fag feeling....it's because I am not vaping enough nicotine.....so I vape the 36 mg until that feeling goes away. It doesn't seem to be the same for everyone.

It seems as if it is different from person to person. I would still like a real cig once in a while and when i do have a real one they taste horrible now. My friend bought a dse901 from me and after 3 days he stopped real cigs and said he doesnt even want one now.

Here is what i suggest. Hold out on smoking a real cig for a week or more then go ahead and let yourself have just 1. Trust me it will most likely taste so bad it will turn your stomach and make you not want another one after that.

I've only been vaping for a week. When I bought one it was with the intention of using it in places you're not allowed to smoke. I have found myself using it more and more and analogues less and less, however, I'm not getting stressed over it. If I fancy a real cig I have one, although, as has been pointed out, they are starting to taste disgusting.
So, my advice is, if you want an analogue have one and take things one step at a time for a stress free changeover.

The other thing I've noticed is that sometimes when I'm craving an analog, vaping a tobacco flavored liquid helps a bit more than vaping something dessert like. That's also when I'll drip vape my DSE 901. I just seem to get more vapor/more weight when I drop vape.

I broke down a couple of days ago and lit up an analog. Oh, my . . . it was so nasty. I actually put it out after a few puffs. In fact, I put it out quickly enough that I'm still considering myself tobacco-free since 1/29.

I've been at this e-smoking thing since bout mid november 08', so almost 3 months now. Still the one thing I can't get past is that one marlboro in the morning. I even got some 36mg marlb juice to try to satisify that morning urge, but to no avail. Granted going from almost a pack a day to 1 or 2 a day(sometimes I have one after dinner also, oh well lol), I must say that after this last carton is done i'll be through with analogs. I think the only reason I still smoke the one or 2 is because they are there, i've been working on this last carton for the last 2 months now and only have 2 packs left. If I went home today and just threw them in trash I think i'd survive, I really wanna be done w/ analogs once and for all. I've also invested quite a bit of funds into my e smoking hobby, I have purchased 2 starter kits for the classic pen, 2 for the 901, 2 for the e cigar, only 1 for the pilot so far(waiting for steve to restock lol), plus usb passthroughs, extra batts, atomizers, and a ton of juice. Has it been worth it??? I think so, just as long as it gets me off of real cigs it WILL be worth it.. I wish you luck chiz, it won't be a totally painless transition as I am still struggling w/ it, but the end result(being totally free from analogs) is what keeps me in vapin'.... Take care....~Lane

First in the morn and after a meal are the hardest to give up, but after a few days (a week or so) of vaping and only having 1 or 2 a day... analog cigs taste like dirt so u won't want one as bad... but there are still urges sometimes (Only been vaping 3 weeks but off analog completely now).

I did what bracky did, bought it just to use in pubs and airports. It arrived shortly before I went for a stay at my (non-smoking) parents' house over Xmas. In the days up until then I smoked about 50% and used my new toy about 50% of the time. The weather while I was there was awful, so I stayed inside with the e-cig. After I left and could smoke without standing in the rain...they tasted bad. Since then I've had a few when the batteries have died, and been oh-so-happy when I got home to a fully charged battery.

So far this week(since i've started using my pilot) I have skipped the after dinner smoke. Thats a step in the right direction for sure. The pilot is pretty satisifying, more like a real cig then all the others i've tried, In my opinion at least. Now just to get rid of that morning cig, and it should be smooth sailin' from then on....

I didn't drop the analogs totally till day 5 of vaping. Went for 31 days without having a single one after that. Then we had some major car issues which pretty much cleaned out the bank accounts. That was right when i was running low on juice.
I went for a almost two days with no nic at all when the wife had enoguh and told me to "go buy some cigarettes if you are going to be this much of a pain in the a$$". So i did, the first one was three puffs then it was thrown away. The first pack lasted two days. Then over the next 3 days i smoked another two packs. None of them i really enjoyed like i used to. I also found myself craving a hit of Riskee more than an analog.

I have been restocked with juice since Monday and finished the last of a remaining pack i had today. It has been like starting all over again with ecigs. Only this tiem i know exactly how to use them.
I still feel the urge to smoke an analog but i know that i don't need them and that urge will pass. If i have any analogs around i WILL smoke them so i have to make sure i don't have any and i do just fine with vaping.

Bottom line is, don't beat yourself up over it. You'll stop totally when you are ready to. If you want an anlog that bad try one. The only thing i'd recommend if you really want to quit analogs is don't have any just hanging around.

    Bets of luck
A brit living in the heartland and loving it !!
