DSE901 Charger blinking rapidly

Just got it today, put a battery on the charger and it blinks green constantly for a split second, but stays red most of the time.

Is this normal?

I just got my 901 two nights ago, mine does this as well initially. Leave it alone and it will go green solidly when the battery is fully charged.

flashing = you just put in / removed a battery (im not sure they it feels the need to tell me what i just did, but whatever)
red = charging
green = no battery inserted or battery is charged.

at elast thats how it works for my 510 charger
