Noob questions here. Are there other cartridges that will work with out Smoke 51? More important my husband is a menthol smoker and is not satisfied with the menthol flavor of this product. Since we just recently mad the investment I don't really want to buy new kits. any suggestions would be appreciated.

You menthol smokers sure are picky. When I used to be a menthol-only smoker.. if I couldn't get one, I'd smoke a regular cigarette and throw a menthol cough-drop in my mouth....


From my understanding of your post.. You want to try a different brand's menthol cartridge that may taste better? Cartomizer, actually. Your cartridges have the atomizer built into it.

Personally, I'd buy a different e-cig. Never liked the idea of disposable cartomizers. I've only been doing this for 4 days but... I can tell it'd become a major pain in my butt after 2 weeks.

I have a smoke51 duo which i really love. You can buy cartomizers but please be aware that most vendors do not carry the correct ones to fit. The smoke51 duo is compatible with these models: LeCig D2, Green Smoke, E9, and Bloog. (I personally use the D2 cartomizers from LeCig and they carry empty ones too)

I would highly recommend to buy a juice to refill. Sorry i dont do menthol so cant recommend one for your husband. You can find a lot more information and reviews on different menthol here:

i have never understood why people are anti-cartomizer.

they perform well , have amazing flavor , are refillable and cost $7 - $8 for a 5 pack.

one single 510 or 801 atomizer will cost you more than that , and cartomizers last just as long.

I'm not particularly anti-cartomizer, but more pro-refill.

From your own words regarding the Greencig:

And.. thats the impression I have been getting about cartomizers all-around. Obviously you aren't dealing with glue everywhere... and Maybe there's better ones out there? Like for the KR808? But.. From what I seen for the most bit, they're terrible to refill.

Kr8 cartomizers are real easy to clean and refill! On the other hand, GreenCig cartz are a real pita and i have destroyed 2 so far in my attempts to refill. Not to confuse the OP because GreenCig cartz wont fit on her smoke51 duo anyways.

KR's are amazing , very easy to refill... very easy to use... fantastic at 5v

the greencig cartomizers are horrible.

even the Smoke51 cartomizers are not that bad , when i first started vaping and all i had was a smoke51 i would refill those cartomizers as well , much like the KR's
