Hello all, I've been reading the forums here for a few days now, great information. I just ordered my first e-cig (a 901) yesterday and I can't wait to get it. I ordered from Katy at the SmokelessShop.com, based on the positive comments here. I was skeptical of the non-traditional "email me" ordering process, but true to the commentary here, she responded on a Saturday within 20 minutes and my order was quickly placed and paid with PayPal--a big plus for me.
I'm looking to kick analogs for all the regular reasons, but the reasons most bothersome to me right now are political. I have a lot of thoughts I'd like to share on this topic that are keeping me up at night! Where would be the best place to write them, and when can I start a new thread?
Thanks!

You can't start new threads anywhere else but the Newbies Forum until you're had 10 or 15 posts, but you can reply in existing threads. Also, you can't post links until then.

Welcome from me too! As you read around the forum you'll soon see where you might be best posting your thoughts. Sounds like you might be best looking through the health and legal sections, there are some really interesting topics there. I've only been here a month or so, and if I recall it's 15 posts before you can start a thread anywhere but the newbie section. I'm sure you'll reach that quickly enough, I did about 30 on my first day!

Welcome from me too jenny...

Hi Jenny, I'm a noob too but find the wealth of information here as addictive as my newly formed esmoking habit.
Welcome.

An an aside, I wonder if anybody realized that the 10 or 15 post limit just may force some noobs to make vacuous posts just to bump the post count. Not me of course...honest

Vacuous=good word
I have definitely determined that I am a compulsion smoker. I went down to ultralights years ago in an attempt to wean off (with the ultimate goal of quitting-didn't happen). So I don't think it's the nic alone that has me hooked. When I try to not smoke, I freak out, like I just don't know what to do with myself. Nic gum does not help, only smoking will do. E-smoking holds real promise for me with regard to compulsion: I get to buy stuff, this stuff requires ritualistic maintenance and internet research, and there is an e-forum full of kindred spirits. What more do I want? And I can't wait to have a counter in my signature.

I really wish esmoking was around when I quit. I used the patch and it was hell.
While I'm bumping my post count (thanks Jenny!) I do have a legit question..how come the LTv9 cartridges have such low rating nicotine on them compared to the numbers I see posted for the juice.
I believe the LT carts go up to 16mg while the other juice goes to 36m. Are the LT carts more efficient at delivery, are the ratings interpreted differently or are the LT carts just plain weaker?
