Default evo cart is too loose

    Hello

I keep having a problem with my evo cart slipping off, does anyone have a good way of stopping this?

I've heard that some people put tape on the atomizer but I'd think that would maybe melt. Or doesn't it?

some of the carts are just too loose (I've had the same problem with 1 cart) and there's nothing that can be done that won't potentially damage the evo. Just switch carts.

If it keeps happening with multiple carts I'd contact intellicig and let them know about it. It could be a manufacturing defect.

Default Have you tried this Fix on an Evo for Loose Cartridges?

This works great on the 901 and others but I have not tried it on the Evo:

EDSE 901b Cartridge not fitting well problem EASY FIX
    Hi ALL,

For those of you guys, or gals that have had your cartridge slip out easily, I have found a quick fix.

The problem is that the atomizer is a little too wide and the cartridge is just a little bit too small. Also, liquid seeps into the two while you inhale which makes it slippery and easy to come off.

    What you need:

    1 lighter

    1 Sewing Needle

All you have to do is heat up the tip of the needle until it is red hot and quickly melt (a little) onto the part of the cart that connects to the atomizer.

I do it vertically on 4 sides. Try your best to make it evenly spaced but it doesn't matter too much. The point is to make 4 ridges. After you do that, the cart should snap in pretty tight and fit very snug.

I hope this helps because I have had the cart fly off on me many times, luckily on my carpet or else it would have been pretty bad.

Good Luck and I hope this info helps my fellow e-ciggers

FYI, I tested Sun's tip and it works...perfectly...

Pull the cart off, heat the needle and juuuuuuuuuuust touch it to the inside wall...just enough to make a teeny, tiny little depression in the wall.

When you do this it also forms a ridge of plastic.

Do this in 4 spots, roughly 90 degrees centered and WOW.

The cart I tested this on would come off VERY easily...no resistance at all. Now it's on there SUPER tight. It was actually hard to get on the atomizer.

    Thanks again, Sun!

so we're just heating a needle and pushing it against the inside of the cart then?

    Default Correct--You are making ridges

That is Correct Chiz--the idea is to make 4 ridges or "humps" so that the Cartridge fits snug. --Sun

Chiz--its a quick on and off with the hot needle--do it very quickly--should not take more then 10 seconds to fix the cartridge so it fits snug--Sun
