The "whistle shape" of the 901 cart gave me that ache in my jaw when I got it (I broke my jaw in 3 places when I was young... so even rain makes it hurt). It is also a little harder to inhale because of the way the atomizer is set up. I switched to the Pilot (M401) and it's round cart seems to have solved the jaw thing and the 4 hole atomizer made the inhale easier.. so now I am a happy camper

Also have to look at the other side of it here-a lack of enough nicotine. Headache is one of biggest signs of withdrawal. Just like with caffeine.

I agree with Spikey and Katnik about it possibly being the draw. I do not have a 901 so I can't comment on its draw, but I am using the epuffer magnum which has a real hard draw compared to what I'm used to with analogs. Having to pull on the magnum so hard gives me a slight headache and quite a bit of jaw cramping/pain. I have a Pilot on the way from Puresmoker, I hope the draw is a lot easier with it.

thanks for all the responses! i'm gunna try this out for the week and if i still continue with the cramping, i'll prolly try the 401 as it looks like it might be better for me as well (the easier draw) thanks again!

Too much nic tends to give me a headache and heartburn. You might want to try dropping down to a weaker liquid

    Hi.
I'm new to vaping (started about 10 days ago). I'm using high and med carts. The thing is that I haven't been able to switch to digital smoking because of the headaches.
I smoke 1 digital for every 4 analogs...I can't get used to having this headache. It's just amazing, 3-4 puffs and I already feel it coming, and it lasts for more than an hour or so.
    5 days ago I didn't use my e-cig and I didn't have any headache.
    Anyone like this?

Danyel, When I first got my 901 I started to get a headache but I realized that it was the same feeling as when I was out w/ friends late and smoked way to much. It sounds to me like too much Nic. Maybe take less puffs? I am not doctor. You could also try the non-PG juice.

Okay, I'll chime in here. I have had my dse901b for just over 1 week and was getting headaches for the first 5 days or so. I was smoking low dosages (~7mg) so it was NOT an overdose. I should note that I am "cutting" 36mg liquid. I began cutting with pure PG but have since moved to half-half with VG and PG. I have also increased the dosage to ~11mg. Finally, I have adjusted the way I inhale, allowing it to be a smoother and more drawn-out process. All of this has helped and I now don't get any headaches at all and am totally infatuated with my 901.
Those saying to swith over to another model may well be wise. I have however adjusted my approach to suit the 901 since I've invested the money already, parts are cheap and readily available (when in stock- lol), and I like the amount of vapor it produces.

    Good luck!
