| I am a twenty five year old man, whom has smoked analogue cigs since age twelve... I stumbled onto an ad for e-cigs late last night. It seemed like a miracle (As I just recently failed to quit...again) Anyway, as you can probably tell, I am a complete newbie to this stuff. I do not have any of the cigs at all (Am doing research first...) Now, I saw a review for the Janty mini fogger by Parkdddd on youtube and feel that the effects of said product, fit what I am seeking. But I am up for advice, etc. Also, I plan to use liquids to refill, but I have no idea how to plan this. Currently, I assemble my own analogues using a machine and filtered tubes. I can make a pound of tobacco and 600 tubes last nearly two months (a carton and a half per month, give or take) I have been reading around this site, and upon seeing so many very intelligent and generously nice people, steeled myself to talk out in the open. You could call me a 'hermit-like' person XD Anyway, I want to make the switch to e-cigs, because I have a wonderful fiance of several years (we wish to marry when we can afford it) This woman is the love of my life, and I want to give her all the decades, years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes, seconds, that I can. As a smoker, I enjoy the taste of tobacco very thoroughly, and the act of smoking very much so. Any advice would be very much appreciated, Thank you in advance. |

You'll find loads of info here. I'm a big fan of Intellicigs - others would say that a 901 is a good first choice. Still others would suggest a penstyle - and then there are all the Janty fans... In brief there's no short cut to reading through the forum. Enjoy! |

*chuckles* Thank you for the warm welcome, though I had no intention of recieving a short cut XD I intend to find out all I can before I make a decision. My main questions however, are simply... How close does it feel to smoking an analogue (depending on the brand of e-cig, then I would try to ascertain the differences) And how much liquid would I need to keep my lungs full for a month at a time, given that I, on average smoke 10-15 cigs a day. Those I do not know if I can find so specifically on a site of any kind (being that they are the same question asked in the thousandth way sort of questions) but thank you nonetheless. |

Welcome Kabal =D Just recently made the switch myself from analogs to my first Ecig, a DSE901. Wasn't even trying to quit analogs, really. But luckily, it's been easy for me so far. Since I picked up my e-cig, I haven't even wanted an analog. There are some great video reviews on different models Helpful links and vids for new users if you like to check out a couple more models before deciding. That being said, love my DSE901 for ease of use and ease of refilling carts or direct dripping. Personally wish a cart would last a little longer between top offs (thinking of buying a penstyle already, lol) Unfortunately I can't help you with a liquid that tastes like tobacco as I just haven't had the opportunity to try many yet. Many posts seem to indicate that it's a much sought after, though rarely found flavor. Everyone has different tastes, so try a bunch (maybe a sampler from Johnson Creek, or some small bottles from TheSmokelessShop) until you find one you like. Also, the DIY juice forum has some excellent suggestions and recipes if you'd prefer to make your own. Anyway....welcome and welcome to vaping! |

Hi Kabal-Monk, welcome to the forum. For many of us it's better than smoking but it's not the same. You really have to try it and see if it's for you. On average people tend to vape around 2ml per day. This is a good place to start on the forum - Helpful links and videos for a new user. |

I'm sure Kate has that formula stashed away in her habit somewhere. Maybe a good idea to sticky that thread? | |

first kabal welcome what you will find below are IMO the best i have encountered so far and worst first off the best get your self a DSE-901 the juice you would need is most like high 18 or 16 mg nic str or higher from totally wicked supplier list above plan on going Thur at least one atomizer per 2 week period depending on your e cig habit. second plan high on the nic you could always dilute down cheaper janty is all fine and good but comparable and cheaper is out their third vap taste or individual to the person but you might try riskee juice or even get a sample pack from Johnson creek or any other supplier that makes them but first make sure you understand weather you are sensitive to PG. 4 plan to drink plenty of water while vaping now the bad IMO most super mini that sell based on looking like a real smoke battery life is short and so is cart life. the best to get are pen-styles or the 901 best for a starter and part and kits are cheap. i see you have listed USA as location so my supplier recommendation are Totally wicked for juice and Johnson creek for device kits either pure-smoker or alt smoke failing that vapor-guys even most will either have kits or will get some soon. Pure smoker has the pilot M i think which might also be up your ally i have a 901 kiss box and mini fogger but i use 901 now so i know the janty line well

I will let the people who have been here a little longer answer your questions.. but welcome! The video section helps learn a lot. A picture can be worth a thousand words. A video can be worth a million!
