Battery-and if I don`t follow the rules???
I know my 3 replacement batteries will be in my mailbox at noon on Wednesday. Am assuming they are not pre-charged (shipped from epuffer). Crap!! I don`t feel like waiting till 8 o`clock that evening for my first vapor cloud in more than 10 days.
It`s bad enough that having gotten to 6 analogs a day and now back up to 20-yikes. So if I must have an elec ciggy right away without charging a battery for 8 hours? Is it gonna do any permanent damage??

Stick them on charge until the charger light goes green that is it.
No 8 - 10 - 12 hr pre charge.
This part of the instruction book is a mistake.

I'm assuming that the batteries are just like your standard (lithium-ion?) batteries, in which case, they are finicky at best lol. I rarely charge my batteries for more than 2 hours (but I've only had it for 4 days so idk if they'll mess up or not :/ )

Thanks:
Now that is really good news!
But now it`s time to head outside in the one degree celsius weather for my 17th analog of the day

I just charge mine till the green light comes on. Lithium batteries don't have the same memory issues as the old NiCad batts of old, I think it was a misprint in the manual.

I do the same, wait till the light goes green. I have left the batteries on all night too and it doesn't seem to make much difference. For a while when i was down to one battery i would use it till it flashed. Put it on the charger for as long as i could wait. Use it till it flashed again then back on the charger. Still using that same battery today and it is fine.
If you want to try an experiment. Charge one till green to get you get you going tonight then do another for the 8 hours. Would be interesting to see if there is any difference.

I just got my e-cig this morning and started charging the battery. The light went green after about an hour, so I "lit it up". Great... but only for a few puffs and then it went dead.
I've read here that it doesn't matter what color the light is, you still have to charge it for 10-12 hours the first time. After that, a few hours should do it.
Don't know for sure what the deal is, but thought I'd throw this out for comparison to what others experience. Happy vaping...

Are you sure its not the atomiser that is appearing dead Tin Cup.
Does the Led in the battery light up when you take a drag otherwise it sounds as if the battery is faulty.

Hi, Keef - Yep, I used the other battery, same thing. Charge an hour, green light, 3-4 puffs, then zilch.
I'm pretty sure that some chargers will give you a false "fully charged" indication. This is pretty common with cheap chargers of any kind.
Won't know for sure until late tonight, but I'll update this post tomorrow to let you know what happened.
Thanks for the input

I only have 2 batteries, so I generally switch them out for charging every 2-3 hours. Seems to take an hour or so for the green light to come on, after which I don't have any probs switching them out. Usually leave 1 on charge all night so it's nice and fresh when I get up in the morning. Haven't noticed a difference really in how long each charge lasts. 1 hour charge or 8 hour charge....mine all seem to last 2-3 hours of constant vaping.
