Burnt taste and smell from ecig

I am using a DSE901 with Clove and 555 High ejuice but I have a problem with the smell and taste, it seems like the liquid smells weird. It is difficult to explain the smell, it is like a sugary gasoline/motor oil smell and taste. I have had strangers comment that I smelled like I just drank motor oil, so my question is if anyone else is having this problem or if I received a bad batch? I'm considering ordering some Cola and Apple ejuice hoping it smells better because that is the primary reason I want to quit analogs, I'm tired of people complaining that I smell bad and girls offering me gum.

Yoush--Get some new e-liquid as this is not normal by any means. Also, another thought-- did your atomizer get hit with the "dreaded battery cleaning Cylce"? What you are describing sounds like the atomizer to a hit but that should clear after it burns off- -flood the atomizer with new e-liquid and then clear it to get of the taste--Hope that helps--Sun

Probably having the same problem a lot of us are. I recently bought a new ATM and I'm getting the same thing, burnt, metallic nasty taste. They say up to half of all atomizers are shipped defective, I'm really starting to think this is true.

Mad--If you get that taste and smell with a new atomizer, then it was not primed enough at the Factory---seeing this issue being reported more and more--try to self reprime and if that does not clear it, then call it a DOA and get a replacment--Hope that helps--Sun
