    Default Hello everyone, and Smoke51

    Hey guys. Noobie vaper here.

Was wondering if someone has by any chance a battery from smoke51 they don't use anymore to take apart. A wire fell off on mine, so I was about to resolder when like 3 more wires fell off. Now I have basically the 4 parts disconnected: jack, sensor, battery, and the chip. Can someone please take some photos of the wiring on the chip, so that I could resolder mine back?

Other than that, really disappointed with smoke51, and just ordered a puresmoker.com pilot hybrid.

    Thanks.

Hi Destriaero, welcome to the forum.

I've not heard of anyone fixing one of those batteries yet, they're relatively new and often covered by warranty.

I think they are Loong Totem batteries so if you can find anything about them it should apply.

    Hey destriaero, welcome.

I took apart one of my epuffer magnum batteries last night, it should be the same battery. On mine, all but one of the wires are still soldered to the chip. The broken wire is soldered to the outer ring of the threaded connector, but I am not 100% sure of where that wire was soldered onto the chip. I am at work now, but I will take some pictures tonight and post them.

    Thank you guys/gals.

Could you please take pictures from both sides?
The red wire from the edge of the threaded piece, goes to the same place as the red wire from the sensor.
if its a black one ill have some trouble remembering.

Reason I dislike SMOKE51 is first off overpriced. Number two, I live in Canada so in order to save on time and money paid for duty, I ordered a starter kit + 10 cartridges. They sent out the starter kit with a note "currently out of cartridges, will be shipped soon." This is quiet bad since they send by UPS and sending over the border by UPS costs the buyer anywhere from 30-60$.

So sending it back for warranty is pretty unviable.

I was also thinking, would the peewee cartridges from puresmoker.com work for the smoke51?

Now that I have looked at it in better light I can tell where my broken wire was soldered. Let me know if something isn't clear in these pictures or if you need something else.

    Hi destriaero,

I went thru the same expense with my first smoke51 order from the USA.

Save yourself some financial greif and order from the recently opened Canadian distributor in Montreal, Quebec. Thier addy is: ElectroCig.com - Your Store for Smokeless Eletronic Cigarettes

So if your outside of Quebec, you'll only be charged GST, and the shipping is free and via Canada Post.

Just make sure though to inquire about stock before ordering to avoid a backorder situation.

I know for a fact that the cartridge shortages are falling all the way down the ladder with Smoke51.

    VapeOn,
    Greg
